Wikipedia states: haiku, is a form of Japanese poetry, consisting of 17 moras (or on), in three phrases of 5, 7, and 5 moras respectively

I believe I did this also no one else even tried in my game I at least tried and was original work.

Your own name for the tournament is "Warrior Poets" not "Warrior Haiku with limitations".

Sorry, but I have to agree w/ the TO here...your poem was not a haiku in any sense of the word.

Round 2 has ended and Round 3 has begun. As we are now down to just one game, remember: the winner and best poet can be the same person, so this game could decide the tournament!

The poem submission rate for the participants in Round 2 was quite high and I would just like to extend my thanks to all those who put in the effort to write a haiku. It's that kind of thing which makes tournament hosting worthwhile. Thanks again!

Based on his last post as long as the best poem was not the also the winner of the game there should be a round 4.

Big P - Are you there?

Leaping wolf, gnashing
ripping throats of Neverborn
But is yet a man

Dark One, ye tremble
the Dragon is reborn - wields
mighty Callandor

Bloody Aes Sedai
manipulating my sex
I fear your balefire

Apologies for the delay. The Finals are set and have been sent out. This last match is winner take all and pits the semi-final victor sziv versus perchorin who came through on the strength of his haiku reinterpretation of cliche high school cheerleading. Good luck to both competitors!

I wish they had this option in every tournament. There's plenty more cliche where that came from!
