when in a team game and a partner deadbates if you win the dead bated partner dont get the oints

i think that if ur in a team game (dubs trips or quads) dont mattr how many partners you have or how many teames thier are if your in a team game and your partner dead bates (missed 3 turns consectavley) and gets kicked out for missing to many turns and ur team happens to win the game the dead bate team mates and or team mates should not get the points from winning

well not exactly sure how it would help the community but i can say that its annoying when in a dubs game and my partner dead bates in 3 rounds and i win and the partner still gets points even thought they didn't do anything in the game

I think its a good idea myself, but I would change "dead bate" to "dead beat" if you want more serious discussion on this.

I don't think it would ever be implemented. (1) How would points be calculated? (2) What prevents intentional deadbeating to secure more points to partner? (3) Do you think this will just speed up the zombie apocalypse?

That's not entirely true, with the current system, when a player deadbeats, you inherit all his troops/spoils so there's a chance that helped you to win the game. If the system changes (wich is pending) then your suggestion is a possibility.


But you left a question.... if each team loses 20 points (40 in dubs), then you gain 20 points what about the other 20? you get them as well?

i didn't think about that but i would think you did all the work other then waiting 3 turns to get ur partners troops then yes i would sya that you would get all the points.

Feel that could possibly lead to abuse of the system, finding games that dont neccesarily depend on territory count and having partners intentionally deadbeat out of games.

yes that is true and there is a chance of abuseing the stystem with everything, with the current setting they can still do the same thing and both partners would get the points from it. But then that would also be INTENTIONAL dead baiting and could get banned for that.

No, that is not what he was saying.

Player A wants a dub team, but he wants more points for the win. So he goes and looks for a doubles game with a partner that very well may deadbeat. It is not intentional. Just look for a cook or private with a very poor attendance percentage, who is missing turns very frequently. The partner deadbeats out, you win the game, and you win double points. You lose, well, you lose the same that you would normally lose.

What about the losing players? Does one person lose full points to the one player and the other player's lost points just dissapear into space? Should players only lose half the points for losing to one player?

I just think there is little reason to use this, as it isnt that often that players with deadbeating partners win. And adding benefits to deadbeating partners would only create more problems.

Okay so how about this if you dead bait and your team you lose the same amount of points that the loseing team would lose and the loseing team only loses 1/2 the points and the winner of them?

Again...it should be CC policy if you are in a team game ( doubles) and you win, the deadbeater should NOT get ANY points if that team wins...and the deadbeater's turf should go NEUTRAL ! Anybody in agreement ? This travesty has GOT TO CHANGE !!!!
