Dice....
I've been having grat luck with the dice today, took out 22 armies with 5 attackers, only lost one of them. Just thought I'd praise the dice for once... there not always so bad.

Not to dismiss your praise, but to point you to another topic.
Usually my dice have been REALLY balanced, I've had some major winning streaks as well s soaring losing streaks. No complaints up to here.
The last couple of days, I've lost about 80% of my dice!! that's sick!
BUT!! in my last game yesterday my 2 defending dice surviving against 12 attacking dice! I think my dice are getting balanced again weee!

Don't count on it. I became a Major through careful planning and flawless execution of my attacks, only to be knocked down to Captain because of really, really cold dice over the last week. I counted 19 times in the last week that I lost 20 or more armies to a force of 4 or less. Only once did I survive an attack against 20 or more armies to a force of 4 or less.ayreborn wrote:i'm getting my azz kicked in multiple games right now. i can't wait for the swing in the other direction
There is no luck, only preparation and execution.

I noticed dice bashing the first remark made from my friends who've just started playing. I learned to feel more hesitant to attack thanks to dice.

Yeah, I lost a battle like that. It sucked. It was a huge part of my plan that was more or less forced on me. Someone had taken Australia, but I had engineered my losing to make himself lose in the end, but when it came time to retake the the continent, I couldn't even get to Indonesia with my 15 or so armies, and from that turn on my attention had to remained divided to keep his now stronger armies at bay and focus on outside forces. It sucks. Sucks a lot.IronE.GLE wrote:Don't count on it.
