So...what to do when, after having just created home games, the other team immediately starts to reserve places in Team 1, thus confusing the hell out of everybody and ultimately JPC who has to check the results.

Do we now join as Team 2, or do we wait for TIME's invites to expire?

I did that in LoWs game I realized what I did dropped it remade it and was extra careful

cof i contacted you via wall straight away my team have been pmed and games will be dropped from us asap. and reason why i was asking for game no's was because we had agreed 2 exchange them yesterday not just give maps and settings. if you wanted more time a simple pm would of been nice yesterday as i had organised time for the joining of games today.(but you didnt even stick 2 the agreed day for issueing of the games with out no's)

time has a totally different approach to the issueing and making of games 2 other clans.

we have threads in our forum what state what maps and what teams for each map. so when i get given games all i have 2 do is go 2 our forum and issue the game straight away 2 the team. no organising 2 do just the hassle of inviting them all

Re Week 5 TOFU vs TIME

Eddie has kindly agreed to set the game deadline to 8th November (rather than 6th) so TOFU has the weekend to organise maps & teams. With our Week 3 games only having just begun we need at least 48 hours (and it's already late Friday evening here in Hong Kong) so Monday should be OK. Thereafter we should have no problem meeting the regular schedule as posted on p.1.

JPC....hope you are cool with this extra 48 hour request. Thank you.

We are all seeing firsthand how organized TOFU is ...you can't seriously be blaming Eddie for a rookie mistake? Most of us create and invite all at once, thus leaving out the possibility that someone will join the wrong team...this is TOFU's M.O. They always wait until the last second to join games. A strategy that (barring enough guilt being heaped on by the CC community) is going to cost them dearly...that and their inability to count...apparently...

Yeah, I know he made some mistakes early, but he seems to be getting the hang of it. All I am saying is that after getting an extension, CoF should not have posted the comment with the bold italics in this thread. It was a bit unnecessary and I was surprised to see it.

First, you're not going to find too many of us at the moment who are feeling particularly jocular. Imagine my surprise after pwning n00bs for a couple hours on Black Ops to find a 21-game penalty especially when that deprives us of an opportunity to compete in the Conquer Cup finals and get a challenge against THOTA. Pretty disappointing turn of events especially when compared to certain improprieties regarding Batch 1 and Batch 2 which seem more egregious.

Second, COF's point is far. They agreed to exchange maps and settings. I sincerely doubt that Eddie's extensive forum has a listing of every single non-Beta map on the site and a set of teams for doubles, triples and quads, as well as for flat, no spoils and escalating. And if he does, he should probably stop because maybe he'll assign players based on the forum and forget to count and exceed a game limit. See, I can make silly too.

And after all we had been through when you had inadvertently not sent your games to us after leaving the PM in your Drafts folder, but I didn't make a big stink about it. This current issue concerns TOFU & TIME and you might not be in possession of all the salient facts (Eddie has conveniently edited his post and deleted the rather wild statement that he made - if you had read that you might think differently).

1. TIME post their home games vs TOFU. These turn out to be their home games for Week 3 vs BSS.
2. TIME repost a set of games captioned TIME vs FOED. These are in fact supposed to be the TIME vs TOFU games.
3. I pledged to submit TOFU's home games on Monday 8th Nov, which I did. This was done in accordance with the standard practice on this thread, i.e. maps & settings, not game numbers.
4. Eddie posts in the thread "lol, can I have some game numbers please". To keep him happy and accommodate this request I immediately create the TOFU home games and post them in this thread.
5. Whilst I was creating the games Eddie made a subsequent post - just 41 minutes after posting his "lol, can I have some game numbers please" - saying "Well to hell with this, you can submit your games anytime you like and TIME will not be joining any games for a further 12 days etc etc" (this is the post he obviously felt rather bad about and has since deleted by editing it).
6. Eddie then starts immediately reserving slots in the TOFU home games on the wrong team, so naturally I get pissed off for having a) been rushed into creating games, and b) to then see them get messed up with erroneous invites.
7. Conclusion of this saga: TOFU has created their games which are made available to join, Eddie has thrown a hissy fit and threatened not to join any games for a further 12 days (???), and in the meantime TOFU is left looking at a list of games titled TIME vs FOED (which we worked out were meant for us of course) but are still not in possession of the p/w to join them.

So....we were last to get all the requisite info, yet it was Eddie pushing all the wrong buttons chasing us for info (prematurely) when in fact his own house wasn't in order.

At the end of the day it should be the TDs who determine who needs to submit what and by when, rather than a clan head take it upon himself to issue directives.

Maybe now you'll appreciate why I wrote what I did.

wait a minite lets look at this another way.

1)2 weeks ago i posted 2 say if you were going 2 be late with issueing games 2 TIME contact me via pm to all clans and i would be more than happy 2 arrange a set day for the swapping of games.

2)you did not bother to contact me i sent my ussual pm asking you if all was ok for the games on the Saturday. (sent friday) you then responded asking for a extension until the monday.

3)if you want 2 get into a cat fight about it.
you did not post anything until tuesday afternoon at about 5 pm (with your time difference)9.24am tuesday for my time uk. minus the game nos.

4)i then was asking in live chat where i was getting given crap for asking for game no's so i made my comment in here. you cof were polite and posted the game nos so i deleted my comment. i was then in a rush using wrong computer for sign ups. (due 2 your delay)and the computer i was using for some reason was putting the invatations onto team 1 (in 2 games). i noticed this and sorted the problem out (pming the clan members to drop the game)this was done within 4 hours of me inviting them. i also walled you 2 let you know of this.

no i did not harass you for the game nos i asked for what we agreed 2. if i remember correct while the signing up for these chalenges was going on you all gave out mouth 2 a top clan for not joining this season(because they could not cope with the game loads on time) and what are you lot doing making excuses every 2 weeks or not even making comments at all. for sending games out late.

and in reference 2 our way of doing things maps settings etc. i have made over 200 games for the clan and sorted every team out and the only complaint i have had is i signed a player up 2 a foggy game (which he did not like) and this was in the first 2 weeks of the clan starting.

and as for the password thing i sent that 2 you yesterday morning afternoon(depends on the time region) but u do not need a password 2 invite players cof.
