What do you mean, too long? As in too complicated to put into play?grifftron wrote:Tisha had an awesome draft of both of her maps together (both NA & SA maps that are quenched). It looked awesome, just too long for what CC allows.

I'll work things out with different territories. I only posted the map because it would be the basis. The Bison King wrote:no he means that it exceeds the size limit of 840X800, but that's just a technical concern. I think it's a cool idea, my suggestion would be to break up USA further and add in the confederacy.
So are you saying there is a set hight? I think I might have read that somewhere....grifftron wrote:maybe i used the wrong wording, the height of the map is too high! i dunno man i have been out of the states so long i can't think of the right wording... would be hard to get all those terts into the regulated size CC allows for a map.QoH wrote:What do you mean, too long? ALright, I took a look at that thread...Industrial Helix wrote:It's an intriguing map you've posted. Perhaps something along the lines of a Western Hemisphere counterpart ot the Eastern Hemisphere map.
But the key things you need to be aware of when proposing a map idea are that it has to fit within the map size dimensions and territories must fit both names and army numbers inside.
Take a look at this: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... 66&t=40463
Well, originally, the map was developed for a Diplomacy map by someone... (can't remember his name though), so there are different waterways etc for fleets.DubWarrior wrote:I like it but as menshioned, it's too big to go on with. I suggest you focus on the north of South-America (Columbia, Venezuela, Equador, Brasil, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana). We don't have a map of this region already and it's an interesting region (you could do a drug-war) I'm also a fan of the waterregions. Are those regions drawn by the lines of the national/international maritime law? Just a question.

and there you'll notice that you should always update the first post of the thread and post the latest image in a reply. Just take a look at a thread in one of the workshops and see how they do it.
