I can follow all your arguments.....2 games for non-prem players are not that much....but itĀ“s for free !!...so who cares....

You can play real-time risk every day....you only need the Risk2 CD for less then 5$ and sign on to WARZONE or XMP

TANSTAAFL Max.

Anyone that wants to buy a prem account and only has cash can go thru me. I have done it for joetalk and am happy to help anyone else out - I have over 600 positive feedbak in ebay and paypal under the name koolbak if anyone is hesitant to trust me. I am also the owner of Triton Koolbak Inc (http://www.koolbak.com) and can take visa, MC and discover as well.

Don't whine about a free service that Lack provided for your benefit out of his pocket. At about a nickle a day, it is the cheapest entertainment I have seen in over 40 years.

Now shut up and kill!

Forum

Postby AndyDufresne on Tue Mar 28, 2006 10:04 pm

This is a forum suggestion. I've seen a lot of threads where the same person posts numerous consectutive posts. It seems to clutter up the threads and boards in general. There is an edit feature for each of your posts, why not use it? Just one of my personal gripes that I thought would make the forum more appealing and less clutter.

ACCIDENT! HA... I was talking to him on MSN and they did it because they thought it could help them... and it did... now they are going to win...

other game is 29702 did the same thing and wanted to do it!
earlier in the game they almost did the same thing... just missed a turn and started right away next round for double the men... pretty cheap huh?

I dont think it is cheap, nor do I think it is that big of a deal to be complaining about. It was a part of me and my partners strategy to win the game. I think that if the game allows it then it is fair to use it. People complain about others skipping turns for double armies, this is the same thing.

You might think that it is not cheap. However, people play "no double turn" games because.... (drumroll)

they don't want double turns! :P

If you really think it's fair, why not just stick to double turn games?

Yes... So? It's part of the game. You know it, they know it, everybody knows it. Stop whining about a particular game. Make a suggestion more neutral in that case. If you loose, you lost fair and square.

This is a game of WAR! I think that you should be able to use any means necessary to win the game.

It should be noted that this strategy wasn't something that we planned in advance. If you notice we even missed a turn. The reason for this is because I have been really busy with work. My partner and I like to take our turns at the same time and it was difficult to both be on at the same time. The first time it happened it wasn't really intentional the second time we just happened to both get on with only minutes left in the game...so why not take advantage of the strategy. It is not like it is unavailable to both sides?

It's against the spirit of the game to intentionally not end turns to get double turns in non-double turns games. More so for missing a turn entirely for multiplied armies the next round. It's an exploit, nothing less. The game is not perfect, and there are going to be ways to exploit things. Do you really think lack wanted to design the rule about still getting armies for rounds missed so people could intentionally miss rounds? No, he didn't intend it to be used that way. I'll go further to say he almost undoubtedly would not want the system to be used that way intentionally, and what more you all know it as well as I do.

Call it what it is, an exploit. It's not really right to hold up a game to do that. Why else would so many players choose not to do it? If you all want to do it. . . fine. I'm a premium member, I couldn't care less if people hold up my games. I can always join more. I won't ever use it, though, because it's a cheap tactic.

Feedbacks are game based. So essentially a user could leave you as many negative feedbacks as they have played games with you. But note, only one feedback per person counts toward your feedback score. :)

Hmm, strange. This is what apears at your profile:

Feedback: 3-1

and then when I click to see the feedback there are indeed 2 negative by the seame person. It seems they only appear as one at the count.

UCAbears,

I appreciate your interest to help out but...

You should have sent me a private message instead of starting a public topic in the Suggestions & Bug Reports forum that is neither a suggestion nor a bug report. Your subject line "lackattack, help please" is extremely vague and has does not give readers any clue as to the subject matter.

There is a topic entitled Positions Available http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1366 that tells you how to apply for Tournament Organizer. However, we want someone who would also serve as moderator of the Callouts forum and you should learn a bit more about message board etiquette before applying.

EDIT: I added the "I appreciate" part because it is nice of UCABears to volunteer to help out.
