These thing got nothing with those map, these got with centralised numbers, when i say that army numbers can not be centralised then Andy say these not right, but when oaktown map with same explanation been quenched, these make me
and i dont want to play these game when others say same things like i say before and hes right and i dont.
And what the hell does that have to do with me?hulmey wrote:Oh by the way keyogi i and several people made comments about the bonuses on the artic map. Nothing was done about it!!!!!
How hard is it to slightly change the font though? Again, I'm not here to argue. I'm not even here to make suggestions, so leave me out of it.
qwert: you're right, i didn't read every post before I wrote - I'm new to this thread, and I only read the last three or four pages. I just wanted to get you back in your own thread and out of mine. Still, I thought I was being quite positive, and that my criticism was constructive. I'll say again, "I like the look of this map" and "I think you've done a pretty good job picking colors that don't require army shadows." The center color doesn't fit with the softer colors around it, and the army counts in Minami and Hill 362 don't pop out against that background - again, maybe it's just my bad color vision.
I just wrote a paragraph about how your army count placements make no sense, but deleted it because I know it's a sensitive subject.
Take the "s" off of "Air fields" - in each territory it's only 1 air field, not many.
The font does reflect the look of an old military map, and I think it's good. However, every time I read "Hill" it looks like there are 3 "L"s because it's kinda fuzzy... is there some kind of photoshop filter on the text?
Anyway, this is all moot, because I looks like you're putting this map on vacation. Oh well, can't wait to see the next project you start and never finish out of spite.

Keyogi coz you mentioned the rules of map foundry thats why i mentioned you.....And boberz what changes are you waiting for???
I think like oaktown that the font is orginal to tis map and should stay as it is.
However i noticed in some places that it is more bolder than in other places....Is it meant to be like that Qwert???

what quiscard meant is that no matter how good the map will be it will not be finished because you are a stubborn child. you have to understand you do maps for the comunity not for you. that's why you have to listen to what others have to say.qwert wrote:Ok, its going to be good map

Hehe. Good one. *throws a bone at qwert* Now be a pet and change the font!qwert wrote:I again say that these developmental rule not good, becouse map author must have some right, and dont be like dog, waithing comand from some peoples.
Just joking and trying to decrease the tension level in this thread. No offence qwert.
but seriously there are people wanting change of font so try it and show us if it doesnt work fine, i think the legend stiill needs improving try it show us. I dont mean to be offensive in anything i say but just wish that your excellent map ideas could be put to good use with a good execution this is something you are lacking.
I am a tennis player if a fellow player says to me my shots need to improve by doing this, i will try it if it doesnt work i will go back to what it was originally this is how things get improved. No other map maker finds that a hard concept to deal with.
