On speed games, there sometimes is a need for a quick break. Bathroom, work, phone, etc. I am suggesting a pause button, where a player can ask the other players to allow a pause for a set period of time. 15 minutes maybe? The other players would have to agree.
No one wants to win by forfeit, and everyone has interruptions. So I think this might be a nice feature.

I'm sorry, but it should not take you 15 minutes to go grab the phone and come back, or to go to the bathroom. And generally if you're at work, there's always the possibility that you may have to, oh I don't know, WORK. Just don't play speed games at work, take your casual turns or something.

besides, this thread is not a serious suggestion as the form has not been used

not keen on this. speed games need speeding up, not slowing down.

I think this is a great idea. If all players want to pause a game, why should they not be able to?
