Memento Mori challenge thread

Postby billy07 on Tue Aug 24, 2010 5:23 am

after a turbulent couple of months which almost seen us disolve. we have now regrouped and are stronger than ever. now we're ready to accept challenges from anyone.

we prefer 30 home games each consisting of 6 dubs, 12 trips and 12 quads but we can and will compromise. you can post here or contact myself, Grifftron, TheMissionary or Sir Sinclair if you're interested.

Just a note: We are not looking to play singles. If we wanted to play singles we wouldn't be in a clan. It's all about team games here, and that's what we plan to stick to.

ok i was going about my usual cc life last night and i got this from the missionary

5 dubs
15 trips
10 quads

No Manual, No Freestyle, No Speed, No Beta.

Be forewarned, we are the clan killers. Every new clan that has faced us, has tucked it's tail and ran away. Never to be seen again.

I'll handle the board. As for privs, I was just going to do it old school. I'll have to get back to you on that, probably tomorrow.

all is ok. please read what is in red.

then the black sheep update the board putting time 14 v 10 up. then i recieve this.

Sorry, I'm going to have to retract this. The clan is against playing you and looking for something from a clan that has proven itself. Nothing personal, you'll get your shot once you've proven your spot. Good luck.

now all i got 2 say does you clan go about picking on small clans that can't handle them selfs.
because as it stands we are looking like a good forming clan . as we have been told by both our opponants in our active challenges.

so all i can say is that (quote from yourselfs)

Memento Mori has tucked it's tail and ran away.

ps i got the perfect song for u

The members of MM have voted against playing for 2 reasons.
1.) You have made no notable mark on CC at this time.
2.) We are looking to challenge a clan that is higher than us in perceived standings.

Sorry for your inconvenience. You'll have your shot in the future.

sorry but you dont make terms with a clan 2 say sorry your not good enough you are wasting peoples time.

the deal was done last night and i feel the challenge should stand. we arranged the 9th october and if you want 2 back out. i feel lost but will have 2 accept a forfeit of the challenge. by your clan.

and take the advise that you do not organise a challenge then say clan dont want it.

lol i would love to. just need clearance from joshy and koe one thing i would like 2 change is the no beta maps (we only want one beta map stelingrad) apart from that sounds fine.

p.s. i love given it missonary just don't complain if it 2 hard.

yep just 2 check will you agree with one beta map per team

No beta. sorry.

ok other terms what you say over 3 weeks using privs .

also even it out over games to make it

10 quads
10 trebles
10 doubles

not a demand just a thought. also any rules about board usage or team usage.

No rules about team or board usage other than the settings mentioned before. We think 5 dubs and 15 trips makes it more balanced, as dubs is usually more lopsided due to drops and such.

ok stick with that then. im happy just got to finalise it with joshy and koe then we are good to go won't really bother them i do all the work anyways.

when you wanna start. and do u want to agree to 3 sets due on a friday sign up by monday.

im happy with that

Lets start on the 1st of October, then we can try to finish by Halloween

ok i will pm you tomz dont think will be a problem with them 2 do u want the main challenge board or do u want us 2 do it. also who do u want for the privs and i will contact jpcloet for them.

I'll handle the board. As for privs, I was just going to do it old school. I'll have to get back to you on that, probably tomorrow.

If it was up to me, I would go for it. However, the clan does a majority vote on these things. And our clan challenge organizer has a lot of say as well.

sorry but you do not negotiate terms unless you are willing 2 do the challenge.

Come on, MM, put these n00bs in their place.

It's not like there's any chance of you not winning, so there's no risk.

Although, there's nothing to gain from beating such a lowly clan, either... other than shutting Eddie up. In the end, I suppose it would all be a waste of MM's TIME.

Would love to see MM decimate these guys, though.

1) They absolutely reserve the right to decline a challenge that has not even started. Their reasons why are their own, whether you think TIME is good enough or not.

2) Again, since the challenge never started, I would see no sense in forfeiting something that as of now stands at 0-0. Calling for a forfeit is basically putting your hands over your eyes and crying until you get your way.

3) It is actually quite common to try to put together the terms of a challenge and things dont work out. AOD had a case fairly recently of the same thing, though for scheduling reasons. They can take the "advise" if they want to, but you get what you pay for...

eddie bro, give it a rest man,

MM has had plans before you guys were even made to play different "more top grade" clans after this BSS challenge is over... this is no offense to TIME, I know you guys have some good players and are a good new clan, but you haven't even finished a challenge yet. Finish a few challenges first and get your place before you start talking smack man... I love you coming in here and talking trash but seriously we don't wanna play you guys YET. Maybe in the future tho...

Yup. TM did some initial queries, then came back for a clan vote, hoping we'd all say "yeah, let's do it." Well, no one else said, "let's do it," everyone else said, "let's challenge someone more established."

Since I wasn't watching the time challenge thread, nor any BSS challenges except our own, my vote had nothing to do with time winning a few games against BSS. Too, since Mem-Mori have also won a few games against BSS, that would hardly have been a deciding factor for any of us.

Meanwhile, our BSS v Mem-Mori challenge is still either clan's game; but I'm guessing BSS will soon pummel time till the springs run out of eddie's time-clock.

Quick question, why does everyone think we are noobs and pushovers? I would never call any other clan that.

From what I can tell, MM are just looking to avoid us. It doesn't matter how many clan wars we battle through or the results, whether we get battered over and over or whether we kick butt, TIME will always be here, and TIME will always stand strong.

You must realize that MM has very little to gain by beating a new clan. They can earn more prestige by beating a clan with more experience.

i think you lot are taking the piss a bit saying i am load mouthed yes i have mouthed off 2 times in this world both with good reasons.

1)with grim reapers (who i might add i appologised 2)this was due 2 the fact i noticed the mistake and was on a forum vacation there was a grim reaper there but would not say who he was so i could sort it out properly. so when i came off vacation i was pissed off.

2)this with mm i agree they are within there rights 2 look for a bigger clan 2 face. but whats pissed me off is the fact they contacted us. gave me short notice for a start date so i went off sorting out teams came back on and found a pm saying they were retracting the challenge.

so i am sorry if you all think i am shouting my mouth off but for the 2 reasons above i think i am entitled 2 let of some steam about it.

anyways goodluck with who ever you face mm wish you best of luck.

So two wrongs make a right? :?

I could not agree with you more.... eddie2 is a handful. That's the way he is though, and everyone in this world is entitled to be their own person. However, look at some of our other members... they don't deserve this kind of disrespect.

I would love to show people what we've got on the battlefield, but how can we when clans like MM won't take us on? Thankfully, GR and BSS were happy enough to take us on so we could find our feet.

I personally, just want us all to get on as best as possible, play games, have some awesome wars, and all have loads of fun! :)

We will soon have finished being beaten by the Grim Reapers  and the BSS challenge is going nicely too. Not to mention, we're giving Season Three of the Clan League a bash. :D

I did say to eddie to hold off the challenges until we had gotten these three finished but you know what he's like.

I guess if MM really don't want a challenge then we'll come back say... beginning of next year? ;)
