Looks like this tournament has been let go by it's host. Anyone else had contact with him?

Re: Remembering George Steinbrenner (64/64) FULL
No, looks like he's gone but we should keep this tourney going once it's officially abandoned. Anyone interested in taking over?morleyjoe wrote:Looks like this tournament has been let go by it's host. Anyone else had contact with him?

How long does it take to be abandoned? It looks like round 2 was not fully invited, and looks like it would mean creating approx 24 games. I'm still in the running, but might be able to take it over if there is no other interest.

Send a PM to lindax so he can get on it. There is a protocol to taking over a tournament.

did u get it?
Re: Remembering George Steinbrenner (64/64) FULL
I've been in touch with Lindax, still waiting on decision. I think the guidelines require another day still.jaycee1318 wrote:did u get it?

Re: Remembering George Steinbrenner (64/64) FULL
This is where things stand up to date with games played. One first round game was never played (63 vs 64). Only 7 second round games were played. Some how dcc1220 got to play two entries but since one of them lost, he continues only once into the third round.

It's not official for at least another 2 or 3 days. Was just putting it in perspective with a newly drawn bracket, just in case.perchorin wrote:Thanks for taking this over morleyjoe!
