Replace ? icon with "Basic Training" icon and Contest!

At which point will this suggestion be considered "Rejected"? The poll which showed that there was only about even support for even changing the icon at all has now been trashed...is there a point to continuing with this suggestion?

I doubt anything will happen either way with this anytime soon simply because there is no consensus. The polls have shown roughly 50% in favor of changing the symbol and 50% wanting to keep the question mark. I think one of the discussion moderators noted that he'd like to see either overwhelming support (in which case it would likely move quickly towards becoming a submitted suggestion) or overwhelming opposition (in which case it would be summarily rejected). As it stands, I think it's going to sit here until QH can move the support level one way or the other.

But that's precisely the problem - Queen_Herpes has clearly shown that if she doesn't like the result, she's just going to trash it and start over. This cannot possibly have a legitimate ending to it now, in my opinion, due to this dishonesty.

Is a 53% number in favor of a change really enough to carry a change through? I would hope it isn't.

It is clear that there is a divide in the community about whether or not the new recruit icon should be changed/replaced, so it is, as always, going to be left to the admin to make the final decision. I for one, oppose this suggestion, but it's not up to me to make the final decision.

In other words, as with any other suggestion made on Conquer Club, just because it has been submitted does not mean it will be implemented. We should all wait with eager anticipation to see what our lord and saviour lackattack decides to do regarding this matter.

Please feel free to continue debating in a orderly and pleasant fashion, if you feel you must, as I would hate to have to lock this thread. Any questions or comments, just speak to me.

By forcing this into submitted, it appears that TFO and JB were/are simply trying to silence the members of conquerclub who have affirmative support for this suggestion.
