I like black, or if "that's not a colour", then blue, but not both at the same time.
Been ages since I posted here, sure missed some good stuff.

Favourite colours discussed.
Also vtmarik, I'm trying to think of that shade of colour but I just keep hitting black by accident.

[shameless advertisement] There is a mafia game starting in the off topic thread, since i know you're all prolific posters, turn your attention there if you plan to treat the game as a commitment. [/shameless advertisement]

Maroon, purple (esp with green).
Yeah, I got an account at WAW at the beginning of may, played a few games, got tired of feeling like I was playing on a computer inside my washing machine. (No explanation will be forthcoming.)
I think paranoia is where somebody in the game is assigned to kill you but you don't know who it is, and you're assigned to kill someone but they don't know that you're the one out to get them.
I played the fog of war variation a couple of times and it had an amusing element, but it wouldn't work here because the games are so social here. Maybe there was gamechat there but I could never figure out where. There was no way to get a sense of people's personalities, so it wasn't like playing actual people.

I could tell WaW wasn't as good as CC from the start. The look of CC is immediately better. I didn't even bother playing any games on there, and their maps are also so very simplistic, like the battledome map...
Ah dear god rock I wondered why it said "last post - rocksolid" but phate looked like she was posting there. That did confuse me.

waw
I too played WAW a couple of times. The problem is that we've been spoiled by C Club. All of the people that I played with were people that were already playing here, and we couldn't even sustain enough interest to finish a single game. You're right about all the variations too. I suppose if you were really into waw, and knew what they were about, you would consider them as something cool, but just too confusing for me.
Highborn, AK, I agree, about the avatars. I guess you guys are in a new clan, but unless the name of the clan is clearly evident from looking at the avatar, it's just too confusing. I did appear to see some letters on the avatar, but really couldn't make them out.

i stopped by to see what all the fuss was about, and i found it very.... well lets say..... less technicaly proficent?? kindis words i could think of.
I found it difficult to navigate, and graphically inferior.
but at the same time was very suprised to see that i could join in game that I see on a regular basis on my battle screen....lol...my portal to my real life...
..my infernal addiction to CC!
is there any other free sites that offer anything close or is this it?
