Comments: very subtle bolding and italicising of letters within his post to spell out "KKK" while discussing the possible race of jesus. for those of you that are foreign and may not understand why this is a violation of the bigotry guidelines, here is a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ku_Klux_Klan The KKK is a hate group, plain and simple. here is the thread and the post in which his violation occurred:

Jesus isn't black. Unless you're referring to a person named Jesus that's black. As far as Jesus Christ is concerned, he's Jewish. Not black.

i am a black member and i do not come to the forums to have people post hatred like "KKK" directed towards me or in general. i am not aware if this member has any other
violations of the bigotry guidelines, but i am sure the appropriate measures will be taken as he climbs the escalating punishment scale.-the black jesus

Firstly owenshooter, most "foreign" pps are aware and abhor the KKK...if we didn't we didn't know from our own life experiences we would have had a quick lesson from a C&A report within the past year in which players posted pictures of a black american hung from a tree (the response from CC was mild to say the least)...
Secondly, I agree that this is blatant bigotry, apparently from someone who subtly inserted the k-k-k in his response to your post (good pick up JJ - I didn't see it)...
Hopefully CC Admin will come down on this like a ton of bricks...
Lastly, and i try to say this diplomatically. if VS had posted this without the KKK ref he was correct in what he said,,,
jesus was a semite which is an arab race so was no more black than Mohammed - it's wrong for Christian fundamentalists to always portray him as White (or swarthy Italian if they're a bit more liberal) but Arab not black.
Sure there are very dark Arabian pps but then there are very dark Italians and very "light skinned" Japanese..
Your constant use of "the black jesus" may be drawing the weird pps out of their caves but is it worth it???
I ask this as (albeit a very light skinned) member of Australia's first pps...
Tho my user-name aligns me more to V. Sullivan, i know where you're coming from (esp in this instance) but do you need to keep the black jesus callsign? It only appears to attract the shiite?

Look, I'm really sorry. Though I can't say I'm black, the majority of my friends are and we use racist jokes and KKK references more loosely. Idk what I was thinking when I posted that, but you have my sincerest apologies. I assure you that I am NOT racist and that I will not be posting any more questionable things that might hint at me discriminating against any other race. I would rather be banned than hurt a fellow CC member. Therefore, (and you can quote me on this if need be, though I hope it wouldn't have to come to that) I promise that if I do make another racial slur or anything of the sort after the time of this post, I will not do CC anymore and I should be promptly banned from the site.

As for the "black jesus", it honestly doesn't bother me at all that you're referring to Jesus as black. I definitely think you need to get your facts straight, but as long as you do, I really don't care.

I always thought owenshooter was making a reference to the Filipino Black Nazarene, or if not then I figured it was a figure of speech like "I'm the Wall-Street Jesus", not trying to depict the historical Jesus as black.

it is not a suspension, there is an escalationg bigotry scale that CC follows. and yes, if you report someone they should be subjected to the scale for such references that are offensive to you. are hitler comments that common in chat with you?..-the black jesus

they had to follow the guidelines... i agree with you KoE, but apparently referencing the Klan towards a black member is not considered that big of an offense... they followed the guidelines instead of stepping outside of them and realizing this was deserving of something more harsh, but this is far better than what would of happened 2 years ago...-the black jesus
