No way! When I went to High School in the late 70's it was a Catholic High School and they all wore those short Scots plad uniforms. There was one girl, she was older than me and in the grade above me. She played a 12 string guitar. Did I mention that 12 string guitars played by girls in school uniforms is sexy?

When I was a kid learning how to ski, I remember this poster...
well, almost, the one i saw every week said... Ski Bear across the top,
