Klobber invite abuse [busted/closed]

Postby jak111 on Fri Aug 20, 2010 10:02 am

Accused:

KLOBBER

The accused are suspected of:

Other: inviting 1 cook per team in a team doubles for Circus Maximus map and then inviting another player of his choice to his team mostly small rank but not as small rank as cooks.

Game numbers:

Game 7498821 quickly check this one before it's filled up to see what I mean...
Game 7498817 or this one
Game 7496796 or this...
Game 7496594 and it goes on and on and on, just go to his profile and look at his games, all his recent ones are like this...

Comments: I am aware this is simular to an accusation made against Emmdizzle that failed because of whatever reason. but inviting COOKS to EACH team HAS to be farming.. Can't tell me that is not his intention by inviting such low point players to each team (also makes it impossible for teams to fight him which is unfair)

If he cannot be punished for this can the invite system not be changed slightly so you can only allow people on the same team to invite their teammates? Because this is a major misuse since emmdizzle started inviting people and 'allowing them to choose their teammates' like if they'd know at low levels as well >.>

Bit personally i would regard it as invite abuse if klobber never intended to invite whole teams. I think you can invite anybody you wont, but you cannot invite half a team knowing full well that a respectable team will not be able to join. Sure you can have private games. You can evn have open games with invites. But this? this stinks

see they should make a poll for this techniqually ?'s, Cadets, and Cooks should count AT LEAST as farming if their doing it like this... in the poll it should be...

Question: Should inviting 1 person on each team be invite abuse?

a.) yes
b.) no

and everyone can vote, once it's over whatever should be... if yes, then this should be VERY much abuse...

I think the rule certainly needs clarification. Klobber has arguably not really done anything wrong under the current rules in my opinion, but it's highlighted the fact that a ruling needs to be made for future occurances.

Seems like KLOBBER took waseemalim's "strategy guide" a bit too seriously and is now copying Emmdizzle's methods to up his rank.
According to the current rules, there's nothing wrong with what he is doing right now. If you have a problem, just FAMO.

This is the same thing that emmdizzle has been cleared for. Until he starts inviting new recruits then there is no rule against it.
Yes its cheap...but simply there is not a rule there...and he could be inviting his friends to play...

I suggest you make a suggestion thread about it if you want to get this changed ;)

lol, I just got an invite to team up with a cook in one of Klobber's manipulative games. I don't even know Klobber so it can be shown for a start that he's not inviting friends as was mooted earlier.

Secondly you may care to note the partner he has invited (on to his Team 1) is a freemium sai035, yet has received over 13 invites to fill places he/she cannot possibly accomplish. So again, this is indicative of invite abuse.

When will this site put an end to this nonsense which has now been going on for almost a year? Do we have to form a vigilante group to put paid to cheats and abusers?

Why should I care, you may ask. Well, when an invite comes to me and (on the very rare occasion) a sitter is covering for me then it's possible the game could have inadvertently been joined.

I'm fairly positive this will just get locked and swept under the carpet like all the other complaints that preceded it. How nice if i was proven wrong.
