MAFIA RULES

• 1. This game is moderated by me (Naxus), I am the law. Whatever I say goes. If I make a mistake I’ll do my best to fix it. All roles will be given out randomly.
  
  2. Do not quote any PMs you receive from the Mod. The only things you may post (loosely paraphrasing) are your roles (and anything associated with them) and alignment, during the active game. Once the game has concluded, feel free to post the rest of your personal information.
  
  3. All ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in bold. If they are not, they will not be tallied. (I.E. Vote naxus)
  ** If you vote two or more times consecutively without an unvote in between them, then the first vote will be the one that gets tallied. **
  
  4. Lynching requires a majority of the town vote, and once the majority has been reached any and all unvotes will not be counted.
  
  5. Once your death scene has been posted, you are dead. You can no longer post anything revealing or of substance. You may post an "oh shit" post but anything of substance will result in a ban in any future games hosted by me.
  
  6. You may vote ‘no lynch’ to end the day without a death.
  
  7. The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you may do so.
  
  8. Do not edit/delete previous posts. Whatever you say goes into historical record.
  
  
  9. Joking in the thread is fine, but don’t let it get carried away and take over as spam
  
  10. Be attentive and active in the game. If I see you are not posting at all, I will prod all those who are inactive. If there is no timely response, you will be replaced.
  
  11. There are no deadlines for game days and the game will continue until a lynch has been reached. I may feel the need to impose a deadline if the game appears to be slowing down.
  
  12. Each game ‘night’ will not last more than 72 hours. If I have not received your night choice within 72 hours, you will have lost your choice action (I.E. for mafia, there would be a ‘no kill’, etc).
  
  13. If you have any questions about whether you should or shouldn’t do something, or just need some clarification, feel free to PM me.

Dead Space Mafia

In the year 2414, the USG Ishimura (, a "Planet Cracker" starship, sends out a distress signal to the Concordance Extraction Corporation (CEC) during a mining operation on the planet Aegis VII. The CEC dispatches another ship to investigate, the USG Kellion. As the Kellion attempts to dock with the Ishimura, a guidance system malfunction occurs and the Kellion is badly damaged, crashing into the Ishimura's dock. The crew then begins to seek another means of transport. As they explore the apparently abandoned ship, they are attacked by grotesque monsters who kill off all but Clarke (who becomes separated), Hammond, and Daniels. Hammond recognizes that many of the ship's systems are failing, thus he and Daniels direct and assist Clarke in fixing them, so as to keep them all alive for rescue.

I'm not. I just don't see the point because a good townsperson or whatever they're called could get lynched Day 1. Not to mention the person lynched won't get a chance to do anything, as if they hadn't even played at all. Catch my drift?

Likely a no lynch will happen, but if you almost lynch someone they will claim a role. If it is plausible, then they are likely town or a very good scum. If it sounds real cheesy they are a good target for investigation during the night. If it is a really blatant lie, well you got lucky and found a bad scum.

Also scumbuddies or other allies who are aware of each other tend to not vote to lynch each other, so voting patterns are quite useful.

If my vote is needed for a no lynch you will have it, but I want to see if anyone has anything to do/say D1. I do think D1 voting is valuable.
