This tournament is Axis vs. Allies. There are an UNLIMITED amount of spots on both sides. Instead it will go to the time limit. Note:Also, when signing up, please specify Axis or Allies.
The first round for the allies will be held on the maps: England, USA, France, and Soviet Union. For the Axis: Germany, Italy, Japan, and Soviet Union. All players will play 4 times, in 5 player games. (There will likely be a couple of games in that mix that are not 5 player, but the points should balance out pretty well since no one will play in one of those games more than once) The 10 players (on each side) with the most kills will advance to the next round. Ties will be broken on the classic map, by taking all the tied players and having them play in as large of games as possible. eg, if there were 10 ties, there would be two five player games, or if there were 8 ties, there would be one 8 player game.
The second round will be held on 10 maps: WWII Western front, WWII Poland, WWII Iwo Jima, WWII Gazala, WWII Europe, WWII Eastern Front, WWII Australia, WWII Ardennes, Pearl Harbor, D-Day: Omaha Beach!. There will be 5 teams of 2 on each side, and each team will play every team on the enemy side twice, each on a different map. The top 2 teams on each side will will advance to the 3rd round.
In the third round, there is unrest in your ranks, and you must escape to get to the final battle. The two Allies teams will be broken down into their 4 players, and they will free for all 3 times in Das Schloss.
The 2 players that kill the most other players will proceed to the next round. Ties will be broken by who got the most kills in the first round. (not including tie breaker kills)
The situation is the same for the Axis; there is unrest, and you must fight for your life against your "allies" (no pun intended). They must also free for all in Das Schloss 3 times.
The semi finals consist of the last two players on each side teamed up, playing against the opposing side on the map 1961 Berlin. The winning team will proceed to the Final Battle, to determine world's new ruler.
If the Axis won, the Final Battle will take place in 1961 Berlin. If the Allies won, the Final Battle will take place in the U.S. Senate.
The settings are as follows:
1st round; standard, manuel, freestyle, escalating, unlimited, no fog of war.
2nd round; doubles, automatic, sequential, flat rate, adjacent, yes fog of war.
3rd round; terminator, automatic, freestyle, none, chained, yes fog of war.
Semi Finals; doubles, manuel, freestyle, nuclear, unlimited, yes fog of war.
Final Battle; Standard, automatic, sequential, escalating, chained, yes fog of war.
