Tassidar
The accused are suspected of:
Being Multis
Comments:
He joined 1hour ago,
Completed 7 Doodle 1 on 1's and won 4! not that that cant happen.
but i played him, and in 7games he used 'perfect' tatics! sorry but after 7games i was still mindlessly attacking,
He has also ONLY done 1 on 1 doodles and i have never seen an honest player begin on CC by doing 7 doodle 1 on 1's
he has another account, i dont know what his other account name is but taking into consideration he has only ever played doodles i know he has one.

Sigh, ignorance will be the downfall of the human race. He says I must be a multi because I am better than him even though he has been here for 2 years...I can't read the forums and understand strategy? I have seen people use this website, I have played the board game risk. Unlike the accuser, I am not ignorant and I have common sense (and a bachelor's degree) meriting me the ability to be good at strategy games...Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I am formerly from the marines, RISK (and strategy for that matter...) is something im used to.
As for seeing if im a multi, I told the Moderator I play at work with many co-workers (who have recently been banned...). I think routine IP scans are a poor way to determine if someone is a multi. Funny how Conquerclub.com Mods jump to the aid of paying members even if they lose horrendously.
*EDIT*: I am also not new to forums (avid D2JSP user). This user also proves his ignorance by stating he was mindlessly attacking after 7 games...sorry to break it to ya bud, but not everyone in this world has down syndrome...

Seems like a spurious report to me. gibbyrfc, sack up when you lose!
This player knows how to find strategy information and doodle earth is probably the easiest map to understand IMO.

Re: Tassidar
Going to take a look at this.
And for your information there is no such thing as "a former Marine."
I tend to disagree with this comment. Ignorance implies a lack of knowledge, which to me means that there is a chance to learn.Tassidar wrote:Sigh, ignorance will be the downfall of the human race.
Which moderator did you talk to? I am just curious because I am the one who made the bust.Tassidar wrote:As for seeing if im a multi, I told the Moderator I play at work with many co-workers (who have recently been banned...)
If that was true don't you think you would have been busted already?Tassidar wrote:I think routine IP scans are a poor way to determine if someone is a multi.
How do you come to this conclusion? Many of the multi's we bust are free members who try to get around the limits on the number of games for one account.Tassidar wrote:Funny how Conquerclub.com Mods jump to the aid of paying members even if they lose horrendously.

Re: Tassidar
Even though people have the option of chance to learn does not mean they will. When people get to a certain age, there really is no hope for them anymore (why I don't believe ignorance (the way I perceive it) can really exist until highschool).
Masli was the "black name" posting in my games, just assume he works for the site (not sure the specific titles of members).
As for IP scans, yes you are correct. My account would already be banned. I guess this goes to show the Mod team actually does some investigation. I am not really sure why free members try to get around the 4 game limitation...I would want my account to have a decent reputation, not just playing conquerclub.com to play. I find no fun in losing!
As for my conclusion, I haven't even played 10 games and this guy comes in acting like he owns the place. He decides to be a sore loser and kills off most of his players...very bad first impression for me, makes me not want to pay money into the site if I have to play in a community with someone like him.
And my mistake about the title...formerly enlisted/retired marine. Pick what you like best.
Sorry for the lack of quotes, my work PC isn't working properly.
My first Conquerclub.com impression: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=7352816
My first impression of the members of this website. So far, I would not recommend this website to others.

Re: Tassidar
It seems perfectly reasonable for someone to find it odd enough to report when your first seven games have all been on the Doodle Earth map. I don't believe that's a particularly likely scenario for someone brand new to the site.Tassidar wrote:Sigh, ignorance will be the downfall of the human race. The strategy used in the military has very little, if any, relevance to the strategy used on a Conquer Club game board.Tassidar wrote:Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I am formerly from the marines, RISK (and strategy for that matter...) is something im used to.
In the multi-hunters' defense, this does likely strike a particularly strident chord with them. They do have a continuing problem of banned users attempting to return to the site.Tassidar wrote:As for seeing if im a multi, I told the Moderator I play at work with many co-workers (who have recently been banned...).
Routine IP scans are hardly the only resource at our multi-hunters' hands.Tassidar wrote:I think routine IP scans are a poor way to determine if someone is a multi. Funny how Conquerclub.com Mods jump to the aid of paying members even if they lose horrendously.
I've gotta tell you...this sort of thing only leads me to believe you likely are someone who would have been previously banned. You're really not helping your cause out here, in my view.Tassidar wrote:*EDIT*: I am also not new to forums (avid D2JSP user). Believe what you want sir. The forums are here for a reason, sorry I am the first new member to actually use them...
The site rules say to use common sense...I am by reading rules/strats and playing on a smaller map of the classic RISK board...I would rather play 20+ doodle earth maps in one day than 4 classic maps in a week...

Re: Tassidar
How so? Being a free member allows me 4 games at a time. Doodle earth is 18 regions, making it a quick game. Classic RISK map is many many more regions. You do the math...more games > less games to get me through my work day...
I will prove this to you, I am in a classic game and 3 doodle games. I will tell you how many doodle games I finish in the course of my classic map.

Masli had a black name and was posting in the chat of my game.
One question...can I technically report the member for sitting in my game and not playing? He is wasting one of my 4 spots and that game is a sure win in a few rounds.

HAHAH He joined at 8:31 this morning and began his first Doodle Earth game at 8:33. He is an expert at navigating the forums and locating the Doodle Strategy guide and reading it in two minutes.
Not to mention beginning multiple games within the first 3 minutes he joined and winning them within 15 minutes.

Re: Tassidar
dude, classic 1v1s usually end much quicker than doodle 1v1s. In doodle you never have the game wrapped up even if the opponent is down to 1 or 2 terts because usually you still only get 3 troops per round also. In classic, someone usually gains an advantage pretty much right away and it's over by round 12ish. You've already had an 11, 15, and 28 round game in 8 games. So the bs about "doodle is quicker" is wrong. What is quicker is rt, which is what you've been doing.
And do you really think that everyone besides you is a complete idiot? Not one other person has backed you up, we're not all stupid.

Re: Tassidar
Thats not the most interesting part. He lost. The most interesting part, is the fact that in 2 minutes he could DL and install greasemonkey, clickies, and BOB, then also post and find an RT to do.b00060 wrote:HAHAH He joined at 8:31 this morning and began his first Doodle Earth game at 8:33. Re: Tassidar
Actually he won the second game which was started 3 minutes after joining. I have my Masters degree and a 5 figure game history to pull from, and I fail to believe any of his defense. I don't know about anyone else, but the first dozen games here I played, I got my ass handed to me and took forever to navigate around the site and get comfortable. Military strategy? Get the hell out of here with that one. If your strategies are so great, why don't you play on a more sophisticated map that actually requires some decent strategy and not one that a third grader can develop a winning (See this map is all Luck) strategy if you are not a moron.

Each of those rounds lasted 3-4 seconds...My current classic game has only gone 1 round so far and it's been what? 20 min already? And I don't know what "rt" is...dude, classic 1v1s usually end much quicker than doodle 1v1s. In doodle you never have the game wrapped up even if the opponent is down to 1 or 2 terts because usually you still only get 3 troops per round also. @ the guy saying im using mods, I can't install stuff at work. I am going to keep assuming that everyone posting here (minus mods) is actually quite ignorant when it comes to computers...its not hard to have fast clicking hands...click begin turn, deploy where you want, assualt, end turn. I can do that in 5 seconds. You want screen shots of my web browser (if that shows im not using mods?) I can easily do it...

lmao, what did I say? "What matters is rt". It matters how quickly you start your turns, classic rounds are not that much slower if you both start them rightaway like you did in doodle.Tassidar wrote:Each of those rounds lasted 3-4 seconds...My current classic game has only gone 1 round so far and it's been what? 20 min already?dude, classic 1v1s usually end much quicker than doodle 1v1s.
