Div 2A is TOFU, DD
Div 2B is AOC, LOTZ

According to the rules these four clans will now be promoted to Div.1

I'm still trying to fathom if there's really any need for these playoff games, i.e. what does the overall winner (in Div.2) get, seeing that we're all being promoted anyway?

Your answer will help me decide whether to spend a lot of time planning maps & teams or whether to set up a load of random games and try out some new combos. Thanks.

I think your biggest concern is that at some point these games will find their way into any ladder rankings CoF. So I guess you should only worry about it effecting you in that way.

Or can't say that some other mysterious "important" thing will be named later ???

Andy.....I'm pretty sure the relegations only apply to Div.1 and will still go ahead as per the rules. The Div.2 "important thing" is a mystery, but heck....I like playing for important things

Based on the number of clans dropping out of Div2 and remarks I've read of JP's in various threads, I think that's most likely.

I dunno. There were some new clans formed this year: Momento Mori, Project Firestorm, Dynasty, Devil's Brigade, FOED, etc. I think the Dark Knights of Chaos got reorganized and have their shit together, too. Were they to show interest in playing CLA3, in my mind, it would justify a Division 2.

I'm not an official AoC spokesperson, but... Agents had a lot of planned Division skirmishes where the newer clans went defunct or dropped out before we could play them. Because of that, I'd hope the League organizers will think carefully before letting newly organized clans join the league this year - in any division. At the very least, any clans who dropped out of this league year should maybe have to skip a league year before they're eligible to join again, huh?
