Re: Which Players Have Helped You?
When I first started on Conquer Club, Marvaddin, showed me both the bananas of map analysis in the Foundry, in addition to showing me some basic in-game strategy as well.

Re: Which Players Have Helped You?
mr reid - my maths teacher in primary school has been a tremendous help with esc
ms wilson - my geography teacher when i was 13. i wanted to f*ck the living daylights out of her. so i studied hard at geography, that year anyway.
my dad - learning me how to play risk and chess at an early age helped me with my strategy. he then fucked off when i was 11, cunt!
i know none of them play here (well maybe my father does, i don't know) but i can honestly say i've done it all my way! not that i've achieved much, yet.

Both ljex & jammyjames have been very helpful. There have been countless people in games to help here and there.

In fact put PROFITS, Commander62890, zips5000, and myself as a team on conquerman and even those mighty THOTA teams tremble. The players that have helped me? My teammates I say.

Commander62890 isn't one of ours either but we team well with him. Rblegrod is another non-sheep we team well with but he sucks at conquermanPROFITS wrote:Zipps is THOTAhiddendragon wrote:Most of what I have learned I have taught myself but it's players like blitz and scott, the big dogs, that I've tried to impersonate at times. it's ok dad, i forgive you. after the car accident turned you into a hideous freak and your penis had to be amputated anyone would've wanted time alone. i notice you still get lucky with those dice though, shame you're still not on the same level as me strategically however.hiddendragon wrote:Billy, I am your fatherbilly07 wrote:mr reid - my maths teacher in primary school has been a tremendous help with esc

pearljamrox2 in singles and doubles, KraphtOne freestyle, CapK81-pearljamrox2-WPBRJ-Dupa-others trips and quads(work in progress). No one in assassin hence my 1-13 record or manual deploy which I havent played. So pretty much Dynasty.

Re: Which Players Have Helped You?
bigstevie36 - really helped me when i first started out, seemed like a mastermind with basic map strategies when i knew nothing...
Blitz - mostly through losses, watched him work and picked up most of my own strategies
PinkyAndTheBrain - One of the first people i met when i joined my first clan LOD, bought me premium and got me hooked
jpcloet - Runs my clan and basically my schedule, always has time even with his busy schedule
Several others have helped out here and there, these were the people that popped into my head right off the bat...

#1_Stunna has helped me in ways I cannot describe in the forum. Mageplunka ate the broccoli my mom told me was my ticket off the supper table. it was funny to see him crouched under that table. Emmdizzle taught me how to be a lady.

Re: Which Players Have Helped You?
CoF has been surprisingly helpful on occassion. I think once or twice he actually sent me his teams' gamechat upon request so I could figure out how they beat me. I don't know many who would do that. I hope to do the same for him in the near future.

oddly enough, the two people that helped me out the most here at CC have been twill and lack... i truly miss twill, and i wish lack was around as much as he used to be back when i first joined... the black jesus has spoken...-the black jesus

Re: Which Players Have Helped You?
All of the strategy contributors of the Strategy Guide Project. My limited knowledge of strategy leaves me wanting more, and reading the published Guides so far, and those currently in drafting, are making a difference...even if only a little bit a time!

What Scott said, for sure, but also (and ironically, for anyone that knows both of them) BaldAdonis. He taught me a lot about the math of the game (pronounced: "1v1, teams, and escalating").
Re: Which Players Have Helped You?
I never needed any help about strategy and tactics, BUT
H2SY helped me to stop my PMs being overwritten by newer ones
. PRICELESS!!
P.S. Also, whoever sends me a 4 (or more!) digits check - will be mentioned in this thread! I mean it!
