No competition came from them for the "limited resources" available, and for that I was very pro-gay.

I don't personally consider "redneck" to be a negative. By the same token, "narrow minded" and "bigoted" are certainly aspects for which the human race would be better off without. I'm not sure why you wouldn't consider them to be negative, to be honest.

This has nothing to do with the "media pushing". It has to do with people recognizing that being around people who think and live differently are not a direct threat. It wasn't so long ago that Protestants and Roman Catholics were fighting to the death, etc.

As for necrophelia, it involves no consent and therefore is not OK, just like pedophilia is not OK because there is no real consent. Other than that, I find a LOT of things repugnant, but that doesn't give me the right to decree it illegal. As for the "moral" aspect, I don't rely on other people to teach my children morals and know, from experience, that simply being around homosexuals is not going to cause children to become homosexual. It might teach them not to consider them a different species or "criminal", but so what.
