Re: gay people
well, if i snot mental problem is something really similar. Maybe a misunderstanding about aesthetics. Or a cultural alienation. Not desirable at all

Well I guess people's bigoted views are revealed when they have been drinking, which you have clearly been.Falkomagno wrote:well, if i snot mental problem is something really similar. Maybe a misunderstanding about aesthetics. Or a cultural alienation. Not desirable at all

Re: gay people
you think that is a indefensible thesis though? I know that is pollitically incorrect, but still, I think that is not a normal state. That's something wrong. Not telling to get in jail for been homosexual, actually I have kind of frined that are gays, but still, I think that there is something wrong with them.

Why do you assume it's "wrong"? Something is different, yes, but there's no reason to assume there's something "wrong" with them.Falkomagno wrote:you think that is a indefensible thesis though? Well, somebody can tell me that consider laziness as a defect....and because I'm a lazy guy, then I would feel ofended. That doen't mean that laziness is a good thing. In any case is not desirable.

I think that there is something wrong in gay people. Not something that need to be fixed, not something really wrong, or disabling, but wrong as a defect. An unbalance.
Re: gay people
<3 I would go to a gay pride if drunk enough. My bed-stand book right now is Camille Paglia's Sexual Personae, which has an interesting argument on how gay men are the only ones that take a stand on rejecting matriarcal sexual influence and Oedipus complex. As a lover of the boobs and loather of angly figures I can also understand where the exact opposite argument is coming from. And I'm drunk so there!nagerous wrote:Well I guess people's bigoted views are revealed when they have been drinking, which you have clearly been.Falkomagno wrote:well, if i snot mental problem is something really similar. Calling it a defect already wields a moral judgement into it. If you still have an ounce of reason, why exactly are you calling that a defect? What does it prevent them to do? How does it unbalance them?Falkomagno wrote:I think that there is something wrong in gay people. Not something that need to be fixed, not something really wrong, or disabling, but wrong as a defect. Re: gay people
I think thaat it's related to the cultural enviroment. Even if by now some western societies are accepting gay marriage, and in some disciplines, like in Art or Fashin stuff been gay is even a plus, there is still some prevention about that sexual choice. And i can understand why that prevention prevails, since I perceive it as something not desirable. If it happen,, it's ok, but is not a desirable state. The unbalance is my way to explain why some guy can preffer other guys and not a women, since to me women is the personification of the beauty, is the aesthetic itself, meanwhile the men....not at all. Actually, some gay men try to emule that female aesthetic, in a very bizarre wayga7 wrote:Calling it a defect already wields a moral judgement into it. Re: gay people
gay people are just the same as everyone else you would not be able to tell a gay person from a straight person on first view

Re: gay people
This post is being made by a gay guy. Falkomango may end up putting him on his foe list after learning this.
PICTURE THIS:
You are a heterosexual person living in a homosexual world. Downstairs your two mothers are preparing your breakfast. There are two men holding hands on the cover of the magazine laying on the table, on the radio the announcer is talking about the latest scandal:
A female celebrity is going out with a male celebrity?!, can you believe it?!
As you step into the school, you hear people laughing and saying things like "that's so straight". Friends of yours are talking to you about how last weekend they were hanging out with the cutest same-sex person. You want desperately to talk about the person of the opposite sex that you met, but are too afraid of ridicule.
Going to one of your classes, you're bumped into so hard you drop all your books as the voices of your peers ring with things like "Fuc*ing Breeder!"
This just shows you a glimpse of what it's like in the day of a homosexual.

Re: gay people
It's not "some gay people", it's "the essence of what people liking something different than me aesthetically".

I think that {I can grasp the situation. For me there is some unbalance in the the person, seen the things like that. I would never foe somebody for been gay ( I don't even foe jef for been so fucking dumb), but I just think that there is something that is not fully right in the psyche of somebody who would choose somebody of their own sex as a sexual partner. I don't doubt that is hard, and that they are objet of discrimation and stuff, I'm not supporting that. I'm just seeing it as an observer, trying to figure it out why they are like that. Of course, that implies ignorance from my part, but, though, with my actual means that's what I think. And it's weird because I'm kind of open minded actually. It's an opinion that is not consistent with my political views, but is like that. I can not lie about it, it would be hypocritical

Yeah. Exactly. But I don't think that is close minded. For example, do you like the movie "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain"?. I loved that movie. I remeber a close female friend saying that that movie was rubbish. since then, my appreciation to that girl chances, sinc eI think that is somebody that can not apreciate the aesthetic of that movie, and therefore, is a person who doesn't like art. It's the same with gay people. i think that they don't appreciate adequatelly the beauty in the opossite sex. Thus, are wrong.
