Is it worth organizing a tournament during summer?
Does CC have fewer active members cause of vacations?

And one other thing, there should be list of players or thread with ones that are willing to be reserves during X period of time.That would be very helpful on TOs.

Yes, it is worth but might be a bit harder. Probably fewer members join tournaments during summer but life in tournament forums has never stopped during any season so I think this season of warmth won't be any different.

I remember it being suggested before but I think it was never made an actual thing because the list of players would be very short. It might be helpful but players wouldn't blindly agree to join any tournament they are given.

true, but look at the numbers:

Total people on Scoreboard: 19,758
USA+Canada+UK *: over 14,000
Australia+New Zealand: under 750
*I think these are the 3 biggest in terms of CC, but there are obviously a lot more players in other countries with smaller individual numbers

if we're just going by this, tourneys are screwed during summer , but there are plenty of people who won't leave just cause it's summer

Not officially but most organisers include it in their tournaments and ask people to remove their opponents from foe list if they happen to end up in same games. And if they aren't removed then replace the player who won't do it.

Have this tournament idea and think I saw somewhere something like this:
-rpg style
-players that signed up=heroes
-random non-signed players=monsters
-on the one part heroes will be having 1v1 challenges giving them 2 exp per win
-on the other heroes will be encouraged to fight monsters creating/joining games at their own with 1 exp per monster killed (assuming they won the game)
-heroes would send me game numbers (games must be newly created)

Can this work?
I am referring to the part where heroes create/join games!

well,in theory you should make the games,because if they make the games it won't be labeled....and could be a little abused...

But I would see what's the start of the game
and they would not be counted if they make the 1st move
before they send me a pm

well if you are going to see the start of the game,its practically the samething as you make the game and send the invitation...
maybe you could do a list like that tournament where people could come and go out when they went out,and the players on that list would be the monsters... and for example if the monster kills 10 heroes then if you want to kill him you have to win 1v1 at the best of 3 if he kills 20 then best of 5 and so on....(you could consider this as the monsters level based on the experience)and if they reach 100 heros killed they would win. The bads would win(not always the good has to win). Just an idea (of course numbers could change)

I had in mind that they would setup games as they like,
form 1v1 to 8man assassin.
Monsters (players not signed up in tournament)
would be unaware they are the part of tournament.

So the bottom line it would be like any other RPG game
PvP and PvE games.
