Scoreboard (Normal) has been updated!

Although not all Normal Act 4 games are over (2 are still active), I've decided to move on to Nightmare.

Nightmare (Difficulty 2) - Rogue Encampment (Act 1):
Highest experience player from each character class gets to pick settings "global settings" for his character class. Everybody plays 4 games (all at once).

Though there are active then they are not threatening the highest experience heroes. Heroes who can pick global settings for Round 2 Act 1 (will be used in every game):
LLC22 (Assassin)
Hath (Amazon)
PepeAtila (Sorceress)
Bones2484 (Paladin)
cowboyz (Druid)
growler (Necromancer)
uckuki (Barbarian)

New games will be sent out as soon as I have all the settings gathered. Hopefully in the next 24 hours.

Edit. Forgot the more important thing Normal difficulty is over which means that Normal scoreboard and overall scoreboard have got a full update.

As we can see, current leader is LLC22 (Assassin) with 244 points, second is Hath (Amazon) with 227 points and third Theldin (Assassin) with 208 points. Not far behind are ZionT (Amazon) with 203 pts, PepeAtila (1st Sorceress) with 192, Bones2484 (1st Paladin) 190, growler (1st Necromancer) 186, heatz (Sorceres) 181, ETROPAL (Amazon) 176 and cowboyz (1st Druid) with 171 points finishes top 10. 11th is 1st Barbarian - uckuki with 168 points. First 19 players are within 100 points.

I realise that the cap is big but I'd like to remind you that only 1/3rd of the tournament is over so almost everybody has a chance to reach the top of the scoreboard

I didn't get an answer about initial troops so I've decided to use the ones that the player had before - Manual. Therefore, games for Nightmare Act 1 has been made and I'll be sending them out shortly.

I am keeping an eye on the games and have sent out reminders. I will not be bringing in any more reserves for the tournament but will make a change in the format due to drop outs since next round. Will let you know more about it after I've made final decision how I'll keep running things.

So, I've been thinking how to continue with the tournament because it has become a real pain in the butt due to the length and dropouts. Don't get me wrong, I really like this tournament and I'm happy that I have so many people continuing but I don't wish to make any more replacements so I've decided from next round to continue with only 40 players (6 groups instead of 7 that we have now).

We have 2 dropouts from this round - manc and cowboyz - and third one will be lost from next rround (superkeener). As you might realise 3 dropouts means that I have to find another 4 people who drops out. First of all - I will give a chance for volunteers to drop out (somebody who might be sick and tired of the tournament but is too polite to tell me about it). If there aren't those then the lowest score players will be moved to reserve list. I realise that those players might not wish to return to the tournament later on but I am hoping that they might wish to jump in the game again when I'll have more dropouts in the future.

Characters will be reshuffled if needed, I will take a look at it when the right time comes.

Oh, btw, I'll be playing the games for current dropouts.

I wanted to update scoreboard but Photobucket keeps crashing every time I try to upload the images so I'm quite pissed right now and will try to solve the problem later. Anyways, in Nightmare Act 1 group 1 has 4 games to finish, group 2 2 games and group 4 2 games. All other groups have finished. I think those games will end in 3-4 days so prepare for your next games very soon.

Sorry about disappearing like that, I've had really busy last week or a bit more so I just didn't find time to deal with my tournaments.

As said before, I'll cut down the number of players a bit and we'll continue with 6 groups of 7 players now on. So, players who we have lost are manc and cowboyz for deadbeating; danryan and wolfpack0530 have asked to be removed; roadhawg found a replacement for himself - noretreat. She and 2 lowest experience players (shadowjoe and Shai) will be moved to reserve pool so we would have the needed number of players.

These arrangement have moved the balance between characters so I've decided that lowest experience players will go through a study which gives them new skills (i.e. they will be moved to another character class and they will have to pick setting according to the hero). Changes are following: Pringleplace moved from Paladin to Barbarian; Necromancer Chupa_Vampy and Assassin saraith moved to Druid. To avoid any more delays, for their games I will use the settings that they have played the most on but for future rounds they can change their settings (message will be sent to them shortly).

I'll start sorting groups and making games now, will have everything sorted out and updated in the next hour.

Nightmare, Act 2. Can't say that too much has happened and only a few games has ended after last update so I've decided not to updated the scoreboards yet. There's still 13 active games (overall there's 24 games per Act). Group 1 is playing 4 Escalating games on Supermax (I guess they will go on longest), Group 2 has 1 game to finish on No Spoils Arms Race!, Group 3 is dealing with 4 Escalating Texan Wars (should be over soon) and Group 6 is battling out 4 Escalating Age Of Merchants (should be also over soon).

So, if you want to know when you need your slots open then keep an eye on following games: Game 7117567 - Game 7117568 - Game 7117571 - Game 7117573.

Makes sense, hopefully he will play better now on (though, I only see him deadbeating out of 1 game, in others he seems around).


So, group 1 (Supermax) and group 3 (Texan Wars) have 4 active games, group 6 (Age of Merchants) has 2 active games and group 2 (Arms Race!) has 1 game left. After the half-done groups have finished, I'll update scoreboard.
