The A Ladder also includes Season 1 of the League (in total vs an opponent called Season 1), but is not included in the W-L-T record. The league is weighted less due to the amount of Doubles played in Season 1

I have a couple questions for you JP...

  • At what point are you going to include the CLA season 2? (i am assuming after it has finished)
  • Will we have to post our results in the CCup, or are you doing that on your own as you do the CLA League?
  • Is this also going to be weighted less as season 1 was even though not as many were doubles?
  • Since CLA season and the Conqueror's Cup etc... is pretty demanding, why not include W/L records in the chart... or at least on a separate chart since I for one am pretty sure it will be around a while and there will be just as many if not more results from the CLA and CCup as challenges themselves.
  • It is kind of hard for us (LoW) anyway to play many challenges in addition to the CLA league and CCup... (we love playing in both of these mind you.. its just a point), so why are they weighed so much less, it kind of penalizes us.

Season 2 will be included soon, still waiting on some key game to finish.
I can track the CCup separately.
The setup determines the weighting based on the gameplay factor.
I thought I had overall totals to show experience, must be elsewhere.
Again, the setup determines the factor. Season 2 will be medium weighted, but more than Season 1.

Be nice to have the ladder reflect all years, not just the last 2 years, or at least all years since the existence of when the clan was formed.

In other words, can THOTA still be #1?

If you guys spent as much time playing clan games as you do taking cheap shots at blitz, you'd be a lot higher on the ladder.

Perhaps you should do more research before mouthing off, we are just delivering the final blow to IA in the Clan League Play-Off semis and now preparing for the finals.

Well your accusing us of not playing enough games, when we have a bunch of games on the go at the moment, plus plans for a war with one of CC's top clans getting prepared in the next month.

Right on, I'll be very interested to see how you guys do.

The real question is, did superrag and mikiesdios finally break down and get premium on their own, or did you guys take up a collection? Figure a couple of bucks per bandit is a small price to pay for taking the freemium fetters off one of the best dubs teams on the site. :D

H2sy had to do a couple extra table dances to get them premium. It was worth it to see the look of shock on IA's face when they switched to premium. In fact, one point, Ralph Macchio chimed in with "Stay gold, Superrag". It brought a tear to my eye.

Oh, the irony. My first tournament of clans was won by Super and Mikie as independents. They are tearing up the doubles right now.

The premium upgrade was a planned move by those of us who decide these things. We admit freely that we waited until all the maps were posted so that the IA would be blindsided by the move. This is, after all, a game of strategy and making the best of what one has available. Rag and Miki have stayed true to the Bandits although we are fully aware they have been approached by other clans wanting their talents so a little quid pro quo was in order, 2 of us made gifts of the premium to them at what we considered the most opportune moment. A 'couple of bucks per Bandit' as you put it, would not really be a manageable situation would it.

It is well to note that they had not had the best of seasons up to this point (in comparison to their normal win rate, which was another factor in our planning), so we reckoned an adjustment was on the cards.

We got to the semi finals due to the combined efforts of all the Bandits. We have some very good talent; each 'team' picked the maps throughout the season to match those talents. We are a small clan in terms of active participants so feel pleased we have made progress thus far.

Whether we win or lose the finals is not really that important. As always with our clan what is important is that no one gets anally retentive about the whole affair and we enjoy the, sometimes fierce, banter that our forum is full of. Conversely, often during the season a challenge thread would struggle to get to the second page on a thread such is the relaxed Bandit attitude.

It will be close but never perfect. Season 2 is playing a big factor into the rankings due to the shear number of games played.
