As you all no i am not 100% on how all these computer things work but is there not a program that can check ip adresses on sign up that will alert when you get 2 people or more from the same ip address sign up. i am just thinking this because some mail order places when you put your address in and it does not match the banks it denys it so could you not get somthing similar for ip addresses.

this would be helpful cause it will cut out as many multis

on am not on about being able to check them i am on about a auto alert when accounts are opened with a similar ip address

Don't forget that sometimes multiple people may play legally from the same IP e.g. family and school networks.

If they're playing legally, why would we want to send an alert to the mods? Do you just want to create unnecessary and ineffective work for the mods?

IP checking is not so simple as you might think.
IP address is set, where your network is connected to the internet. Small and large organizations tend to have more than 1 IP address to connect to the Internet.

Furthermore private Internet Connections sometimes make use of non fixes IP addresses. So theirIP address will vary quite a bit.

As lovo said, you don't think that Team Conquer Club has an IP checker? Oh and just to make sure you understand, an IP checker is not a guaranteed way of determining the outcome of a Cheating and Abuse Report.
