Card Question
In a game I just played, Game 6742047, I got 10 red cards in a row. Is there a way to figure the odds on that?
Re: Card Question
without factoring in the change in odds when you remove a card from the deck
you get a card - the next card is a 1 in three chance of matching the color - the next card is a 1 in 3 the next is 1 in three
the odds of having 10 in a row of the same color (NEGATING the odsd change when you remove that red card from the card pool)
1 in 19,683
the odds of getting 10 red cards in a row
1 in 59,049

Re: Card Question
I thought that I had read somewhere that each time a card is dealt, it is randomly assigned a color? So taking a red out of the deck would have no effect on future cards being red as it is random every time....which way is it?

I BELIEVE the "deck" consists of one card for each territory of each color.
Anyone have an answer on this?
also, if each card is random with respect to color, then the odds above are exact.

Re: Card Question
Colors are not assigned to individual spoils (I.E. Brazil will not always be red, South Africa will not always be blue, etc). Conquer Club does not employ a "real deck" as such then (just like in games on small maps, there can be multiple spoils of the some region). Thus, every time you are rewarded with a spoil, the previous colors in your hand should have no impact on the next draw.
