how fucking long do I have to wait to take a turn.

Until everyone else has taken theirs. On casual games everyone has 24 hours to take their turns.
If you are tired of waiting, pay for premium and you can play as many games as you want & Also speed games with turns every 5 minutes.
Or you can go to live chat and try to find RT games with other freemiums. But buying premium supports the site which is always good.
