Stealing

Postby colton24 on Thu Mar 04, 2010 7:51 pm

K-dub leader of Snipers clan is trying to force 3 or 4 of my members to leave the clan and be only in Snipers. Now my questions:

Is this allowed?

Should it be allowed?

1. It is common practice that players be loyal to one clan only. Most clans do not allow players to be in 2 clans.

2. I would make sure that your players want to stay and have a reason to stay. Then you don't have to worry about this.

Response to 1: K-dub told me it was fine with him if they were in two clans. Well, he lied. Not very sportsmanlike to force them to leave a clan.
Response to 2: We've been having some fun.

True, he should ask them to pick one or the other. I'm sure he's quite biased to which clan he thinks they should stay with.

There is no rule that says someone can't steal a player from you. That has happened in our clan with a few members. Truth be told though, we have stolen members from other clans as well. As long as they respect the ONE CLAN rule, everything else is fair game.

Well, if your clan members see things as you do, then there shouldnt be any problem and they should stay with you. If they do end up leaving, you're able to weed out those who weren't really loyal to you in the first place. Seems like a win-win, and if you keep up with recruiting, you should be able to form a tighter-knit group over time.

Now we understand why the BSS had nearly 100 members at one point. I was paranoid about other clans jacking my mates as well
