Hehe taht feels bad doesn't it. From drama to making up! Seems this thread is going in the right direction :p. I still do wonder blitzy how you can manage such a cc-addiction. It seems like a 24-hour job to you ;). Always on top of things ! Anyways next on our scalp will not be THOTHA I guess but we will meet in the clan leugue so better prepare yourself for imminent losses ;).

ok, thx nego

by the way, I like your sig :D but, where is the blood :-s

This is the stuff you need to know!
It will be best of 42 games. 21 Games to be sent by the goons, 21 to be sent by IA.
Of these 21 games 7 will be doubles, 7 will be triples 7 and 7 will be quads.
These games will be sent on alternating fortnights 10/11 games at a time. The first batch (sent by ID) is to be sent on the weekend of 10/11 October.

show: Conditions of Games played

Current Score
GOONS 19
IA 19

Goons Games

show: Dubs - done 5-2

show: Trips - done 3-4

show: Quads 5-1

IA Games

show: Dubs 2-5

show: Trips 2-4

show: Quads 2-3

Lets get it on!! ;)

This is how I have it, so far. The last quad on charlston is practically a guaranteed win for dragoons, which would put them at 17 all. Either side needs 22 wins to win, should be close. Accounting for other games that are almost finished, it looks like about 19-18 IA with 5 games that are truly undecided. Anyone from the inside have a different count?

wow, this is a classic match up. If goons win this, you have to give them a ton of credit and would shoot them right up the ladder once again, right where they belong like every other year since 2006. Now, have I made my prediction in here? I may need to go look back thru.

I guess I did several pages back, 24-18 IA wins over ID, I may have to rethink this a little more. ID having quite the showing.

I updated the challenge thread in our clan forum today. My count:

Finished games: 17-17.
Including basically decided games: 18-18.

Of the remaining games, some are leaning this way, some that.

It will be very close indeed, but we wonĀ“t have a tie. As stated several times in this thread already, we have an agreement in place for that case:

ahunda wrote:Quoting the initial agreement:

And in the rather unlikely event of a tie (21-21):

Another set of 12+1 games: Each clan choosing 2 Dubs, Trips & Quads again, and 1 more game to make sure we donĀ“t get a tie again: Dubs on British Isles, No Cards, Chained (as it is also used in the Play-offs in the league).

Update:

IA is currently in the lead (19-17 after finished games), but the Dragoons have 2 games wrapped up, that should finish shortly, making it 19-19.

This leaves 4 games in the balance:

World 2.1 (advantage for Dragoons) - Game 6326839
WW2 Euro (advantage for IA) - Game 6326850
NYC (advantage for IA) - Game 6262659
Alexanders Empire (anything goes) - Game 6326823

It canĀ“t get much closer ... O:)

Only 2 days ago I actually thought, we had this wrapped up. Managed a kill in both WW2 Euro & Alexanders Empire, and the New York game was going our way too. That would have meant 22-20 IA.

But then they came back in Alexanders Empire and managed a kill themselves. I had to run the odds afterwards, cause I just couldnĀ“t believe my eyes: A 3 % shot it was ...

So yes, now a tie seems possible again. Though I think, we still have the chance to make it 22-20.

Some truly noteworthy games here on the finishing line. Alexanders Empire now in round 14 and after many turns & come-backs still undecided. New York now about to go into its 13th round & its 7th week, and that one too has seen many turns & has been leaning both ways a couple of times.

I still think we will lose :(, but we at least showed ourselves and we did great so far:). Against Thotha it was the same story, lost in the very end of the very last tibreaker :). Anyways hope we can squeeze out a tie!!

looks like you are right negoeien, IA will win 22-20. Nice clan war all, good showing on both sides. Don't forget to read the paper, you were the featured clan war : )

Yep. Looks like 22-20 IA.

But after the experience of that Alexanders Empire game I wonĀ“t start celebrating just yet. One of the most nerve wrecking games in my entire time at CC ...
