This is why we shouldn't have 8 mafia games going at once on this site. Kind of dilutes the talent.

While you are right, it doesn't do that to everyone, some people I've seen on all 8 of them. (Take a guess at who that is)

I'm not talking about individual players. Most people don't want to go in more than 2 or 3 games at once unless they die. But with so many games going on some of the less dedicated players kinda go in not knowing how much time it takes to play right. So lurking becomes a problem which leads to replacing.

Well you are correct in that. But, people like making the games. I do, I have 2 games up right now. The demand is high for them, and people want to mod them. But you are right, but usually there are games that get a good amount of experienced players.

People want to mod games that shouldn't be modding games. Look at Telvannia. I have even caught you to being too lazy to update a page or do a vote count. If you are here anyways, you have to do these things as mod. If you can't be bothered by it then only run one game at a time.

MACH:you said you thought senfive was a townie. Why are you voting? Folks, trust me on this one, a no lynch on this one is more useful than a bad lynch. Houssam, why do you think that mach is town? I'm not looking for sensitive info, I just want to know if it's based on something in his posting or voting record, or if it's just that you have a feeling....

Not paranoia at all. Based on yesterday this is a good question. RK and fircoal are more than feelings. You and mach were inclinations. For mach's case even though he was very uncharacteristically absent for the first half of this game, he seems to have come back with very useful and balanced votes as of late. Yesterday however with the whole deadline and voting for sen while having said he thought he was protown makes me wonder again. But who knows maybe tomorrow will bring us more info.

It wasn't even his deadline brainfart (and I'm pretty sure that was a brainfart, otherwise it would've been the most obvious push for a lynch in the history of the game, and I'm inclined to give Mach more credit than that)... it's a bunch of other stuff...

Like mach's voting record:
day1: first to vote for puff
day2: didn't vote for anyone (may have been away, who knows)
day3: jumped right on the everywhere lynch, second vote behind cblake
day4: voted chessplaya, the most mafia-ish looking guy at the time behind cblake
day5: #2 in the lynch-tres bandwagon.

Everyone he voted for looked scummy in some way, but then again, if he was mafia, he'd be thrilled that so many townies were taking the fall for him. And he'd be aggressive in going after them.

Plus Mach was really going after geegel/tres, trying hard to make gee/tre look scummy. Mach laid out his suspicions of gee/tre on days 2, 3, and 4. And of course the day 5 vote.

That's part of it. But here's another thing to consider: how is it that mach isn't dead yet? There aren't enough noobs left for the mafia to be solely noobish, so it's not like the mafia don't know him or his rep in these games. Who on earth would kill a chaotic gamekiller like cblake instead of mach, if given the choice? Unless it was mach pulling the trigger. Perhaps he was afraid that we'd finally manage to decode some of CB's stuff (not likjely, but whatever), maybe mach is certain enough of victory that he killed off CB for aethetic reasons. I dunno.

And yeah, mach's posts have been good, but mach's posts are always good. It wouldn't surprise me if he's adept at the art of seeming like you're giving out good info to the town, when all you're really trying to do is seem pro-town enough to stay out of the lynch line.

Unfortunately for him, Mach is one of those veteran players whose continued survival can raise an eyebrow. So maybe this is all grasping at straws.

But I can definitely see a situation where mach and dussle and maybe senfive are mafia.

Feedback would be appreciated.

CBlake was thought to be a cop, and when they realized they killed him. That's what I think. Though your suspicions on Mach, prove a point. But, why would Mach kill all of those noobs. I think the noob killing seems more like a noobs doing which could be someone that some of you replaced.

Are we saying that mach is the scummiest looking of the crowd?? Yes, him staying until now raises eyebrows a little bit, but if he is a townie, I would honestly hate to lose him.. once again, I really think that we would be better advised to go for a no lynch unless we are very sure.

So why did our doctor not protect CBlake last night you think?

CBlake wasn't a real cop. It was pretty clear by about day 4 that if he was a cop, he was an insane one.

Personally, I would've been in favor of lynching him in round 4 even knowing that he was an insane cop, in the hope that he had a backup who could actually get us good intel.

As to why the doc didn't protect him, I don't know.

I do know that cblake was messing us up, and that the mafia did us a favor by killing him. If they hadn't, we'd probably be lynching him right now.

I'm not saying that mach looks the scummiest. Personally, I'd be surprised if he even looked super scummy. Maybe I'm reading too much into my one experience as mafia, but it isn't super difficult to stay off of people's radar screens, at least until the game gets small like this. I understand that you don't want to lose him, hous, but what exactly has he done thus far? All the people he's voted for or pointed fingers at are town. It's entirely possible that he's wrong, and I respect the guy's skill, but it's not like he's the cop and been lynching mafia left and right.

And I don't think a no lynch helps us. If there are three mafia, then a nightkill ends the game.
