I like tourneys where you can play multiple maps and settings, so I made my own
RULES/SETTINGS: 1. all games 1v1 2. no freemiums (i will be sending out 5 games at once) 3. no reserves (too confusing for this tourney) 4. if you don't join your games within 48 hrs, you forfeit 5. if you join a game that is not yours, an extra loss will be added into your record 6. YOU PICK YOUR FAVORITE MAP AND SETTINGS, and post them when you sign up, the games are player choice!! IF YOU CHOOSE FREESTYLE YOU HAVE TO JOIN THE GAME FIRST
ROUND ROBIN: 1. 4 groups of 6 players 2. each player plays 10 games (2 each against each player in his/her group, 1 on his/her map and settings, one on opponents map/settings), I will send out games in 2 groups (5 games each) 3. groups will be assigned based on when you sign up (first 6 players in group A, etc) 4. the 3 players with the best records in each group advance to the playoffs
TIEBREAKERS: 1. head to head records 2. a one game playoff on classic, auto, seq, flat rate, chained, sunny (in the case of a 3 or more player tie, each person will play each other person once on these settings) 3. (only possible in 3 or more player ties) fewest number of rounds won in in step 2 (if player A beats player B in 5 rds, player B beats player C in 7 rds, and player C beats player A in 6 rds, player A wins tiebreaker, C is in second, and B is in third)
PLAYOFFS: A1=player with best record in Group A A2=player with 2nd best record in Group A A3=player with third best record in Group A 1. A2 v A3 in 3 game series (2 games with A2's map and settings, 1 with A3's) 2. A1 v winner of series 1 in 3 game series (2 games with A1's map and settings, 1 with other player's) 3. winner of series 2 v winner of B playoffs in 3 game series (1 game on each player's map and settings, 1 game on settings from tiebreaker games) 4. winner of series 3 v winner of C/D playoffs in 5 game series (2 games on each player's map and settings, 1 on settings from tiebreaker games) 5. winner of 4 is CHAMP!!
