take a team-mate turn if he is approaching to miss his turn

Post by Kaiser_Tottenham »

Concise description:
  • Allow a team-mate to take his team-mate turn (before/after) 15 mins these 24 hours ( which he is given to play his turn ) to play his turn
Specifics:
  • This is needed situation as some people could be hurted by their team missing a vital turn, last week, i played doubles game with 4 players, I'm the one who should start the game, and i've decided to give my team-mate all 3 armies for the best for the team as to take Australia, then my team-mate missed his turn and the other team take a big advantage for it.
Today, some mints ago, I'm playing a triple game, I used to take advantage of the other team poor reading for the opponent potential plan, In my first turn I killed number of armies for their weakest player with taking over well defended South America, then i just some help from my team-mate to let me easily take him out, but he missed his turn .. the other team is able now to attack my contenint, and even take my bounes .. as I can't take him out without bounes.
so what if this suggestion approved .. could be the best for the game.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • relationship between players
  • realistic 'fair play' for all players, as individuals or teams

He's got almost 12 hours left. It doesn't "look like he's going to miss another turn" just yet.

This suggestion could easily be abused, and turn into the "1v1 team games" (see the other thread in this forum). This is just a chance you take when you team up with someone you don't know.

Consider joining a clan! You'll get to play with nice reliable clever people like danryan then.

Danryan's reliable? Well that's a new one...

but he's right. Clans are a good way to get people who are more reliable.

yes i could agree with this, but i'm still think this suggestion could be still useful one for those people who don't join clans.

yes, it is a team, if someone can't attend for any reason, there are no need to sour the whole game for something like that, it isn't going to be 1 vs 1 teams, as it's also games for 3 vs 3 & 4 vs 4, and some people could miss just one turn but could be vital for other team-mates.

i just suggest you can take it in last 15 mins of 24 hours which is given for him, or add 15 mins for his team-mates to take a temporary role. This could even give a realistic details about score for people.

you also you've some people you could know, but he could have a busy day or emregence days ( like travel, a death someone he know or in hospital or illness or busy day which he can't be online etcc ) .. there are still a chance for being some games being ruined by something like that, and you know 1 miss turn could change the whole game, it is just being used by 24 hours games as there are big chance to see something like that happen. And the availability to take his turn only in the last 15 mins from his 24 hours or 15 mins after those 25 hours finished.

I hope, we need to re-write this suggestion by the right way ( with it positives & negatives ) , with a poll added, and let's see the result before rejecting it.
