Welcome to The CrackerJack Invitational, the first in a continuing series of tournaments. This tournament and subsequent editions will focus on what I believe to be the true essence of this game: multiple player games, chained reinforcements, escalating spoils, and maps with standard gameplay. We will dispense with the notion of fog of war, freestyle, or any other gameplay additions and stick to the basics. The idea is to be very straightforward in format while providing quality gameplay and a sense of satisfaction upon winning the tournament.
The tournament has room for 32 players and an additional 5 reserve players. Reserve players will be asked to jump in if someone decides to drop out before the first round games begin. After the first round if a player drops out the next highest qualifying player from a group or round will advance in place of the departing player to keep things fair and running smoothly.
THE WINNER OF THE TOURNAMENT WILL RECEIVE 1 YEAR OF FREE PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP.
*Membership may be awarded to the actual tournament winner or a player of their choice.
