Dear moderator,

I am currently involved in Game Game 6467497 with the accused (jsy & YCH99). Somewhere along the line they appeared to have begun some secret diplomacy. Neither of the accused has added any game chat whatsoever during the game, yet for some unknown reason jsy is failing to attack YCH99 (in order to take his bonus), and both are choosing to attack me when their turns come around rather than each other. At the time of this complaint, jsy had 58 troops, YCH99 25, and me 17.

I must state at this juncture that I am not being paranoid. Their play does not make sense. I have attempted to raise the issue in game chat, but have been ignored. I have threatened to report them if they continued to play in this way...and guess what, they did!

For example, Red ended his turn in round 5 with 11 troops on Bogota, while there were just 4 Blue troops on Mexico City. Blue retained his North America bonus as I was in no position to defeat him. Now, some might defend this (in)action by saying Red was just being cautious. Okay, in the next round Red ended his/her turn with 23 troops on Bogota, while Blue had just 7 on Mexico City. Now tell me he was just being cautious!

Something is clearly not right here. I am the weakest player on the map, though I've managed to cling on to Australia. It's true that I've not been shy about trying to stop other people's bonuses (well someone had to in this game!). Maybe I've upset their game plans once or twice, but it does not make sense now for them to both attack me when I am the weakest (note: the attacks are clearly not designed to finish me off and take my cards, so it can't be that). No, I am not reporting them for being vindictive, or for playing badly, I am reporting them for having clearly reached some understanding outside of the game chat - which I believe is an offence/ breach of the rules.

As of this moment, there has been no game chat, apart from my own. My turn has come around again, and I plan to leave it for 24 hours to allow anyone who reads this complaint to look at the map as it stands currently and tell me they don't also smell a rat.

Sorry to sound stupid, but what does "Fixed Links" mean?

the format of a C&A report asks that you not only provide the game information but also a direct link to the game, and player profiles. This greatly reduces the time mods need to handle the large amount of reports.

It appears that a guilty conscience may have got the better of at least one of them. I will withdraw my complaint (largely because CC clearly couldn't be bothered to look at it anyway!)

Well looking at the game map now. It looks like a secret alliance, but they may just have teamed up on you because you annoyed them and insulted their original game play.

This is the first and only game played together, usually for a secret alliance to be found it takes either a lot of evidence in that 1 game or several games that show this trend. For the mere fact that players sometimes can "look" like their aligned cause of numerous reasons.. here are a few that would fly in your game:

1. your the highest rank
2. you outright accused them of cheating in game chat and threatened them
3. you actually were the top or the 2nd best player when you declared they were cheating, holding Oceania and expanding decently. jsy held 2 bonuses and was deploying only 3 more troops then you and YCH99 was just trying to claim the North America bonus in which you occupied. Obviously not the smartest of strats for YCH, but that's what the Foe & Rating systems are for.

This case if you hadn't noticed is 1 among the 30 others we have in here. And there was no foul play in it, this is Cleared. Foe the users and or Rate them Accordingly.
