Here are the two sides of the ladder. If I get privileges I will send round one games out tonight.

Remember there are 50 rounds and I cannot play the next round until the previous round ends. The faster people play the faster this tourney will progress, but I do expect it to take about a year.

Odd positions challenge in odd rounds so positions 1 and 10 do not play the odd rounds. Even positions challenge in the even rounds so everyone plays the even rounds.

Have fun.

Feel free to post smack talk on the thread. Keep it clean and fun, but I know with the mole(mgconstruction), olkok, and the spanish boy(jricart) and of course myself there will be some major smack talk.

Can you make it so that on the odd rounds, the people in the number 1 position play each other and the number 10 position play each other. And then whoever wins can decide which ladder side they want to be on. This way you could possibly move to the other side and play other people.

YES-have positions 1 and 10 play the opposite side of the ladder on odd rounds-winner chooses to switch sides of the ladder.

Great news--We will be offering two medals for this tourney. The winner will get the normal achievement for a tourney victory while the person that has the best record in the 50 regular season rounds will get a special Contest Achievment.

I have this tourney-it is a 1v1 ladder. I am planning on giving two winners.

Thee one who wins the ladder and the one who has the best record. It is a long tourney that will last about a year so I think whoever gets the best record should get something. For now I have put that I would verify this is ok. I believe it is and will award two winners unless the best record also wins making it one winner.

That being said, jricart was telling me about the contest medal for his GP tourney. Is that something I can offer to the best record?

I am thinking winner of the final challenge on round 51 wins the tourney and best record regular 50 rounds wins the contest medal.

Reminder-if in first or tenth position and you win on an odd round-you must pm me to change sides before the next round starts. If you just want to stay where you are you don't have to do anything. I do not expect changes occurring often but it is a possibility.

I would expect a new round to start sometime Wednesday night hopefully.
