Strategy Ad-Hoc Group
Do you have a keen eye for strategy? Do you have a passion for helping new and inexperienced players? Then the Strategy Ad-Hoc is the place for you. With over 130 maps right here on Conquer Club, and more being produced by the Map Foundry regularly there is always worked needing to be done. This Ad-Hoc group aim to produce general strategy guides to help the new and inexperienced player get a foothold on different maps in order to develop and evolve their own playing style and strategy.
The Ad-Hoc group runs a peer review system where every guide you write goes under feedback from other Ad-Hoc members to ensure it meets the aims stated above. Your responsibility is to take or rebuttle this feedback until there is a general consensus that your strategy guide is a good resource to help out the new comers and inexperienced.
If you are intrested and wish to apply to write strategy guides or be part of the peer review system (or even both) then please drop a PM to gimil, gilligan or The Fuzzy Pengui.
Cheers,
gimil

Re: Strategy Guides Ad-Hoc Group
I'm interested in helping out here
I've played, and won on, most of the maps here.

please add me to group, love to learn
Re: Strategy Guides Ad-Hoc Group
As a current member, I can't say there's much activity. The last post was made back in June of 2009. I made my one contribution and then I was done, but it seems a lot just tapered off because of a lack of input/interest.randy pierce wrote:please add me to group, love to learn
What's especially weird is that I was just looking at the group a couple days ago to see what had happened.

Re: Strategy Guides Ad-Hoc Group
I have a map guide there, space, which is ready for publishing with all the final steps sorted. Middle East, which I helped finish after the original creator went AWOL is also in the completed sub-forum. Any chance it can be moved to the official guides section in the interim?AndyDufresne wrote:This may be started up again. Stay tuned in the coming months.
