Hey been reading through the Instructions etc. And as far as I can see it's pretty much just Risk with multiple maps to choose from. Is this right? If not, what differences are there?

pretty much the same you are right.. there are things called nuclear spoils in this game. Other than that there are a few different type of game modes, im sure you have read them already.. if not let me know and i will pm you with more info if needed.
