The file is missing the .xml extension - I don;t know how critical this is, but I guess it will need one at some point?Scott-Land wrote:It does for the xml test just not for viewing the text-- see the above note. hehee.laddida wrote:the very last link is not working

Re: Chicago--[D,GP,GR]: V14S/L:[XML Page 15]
I'd be thrilled to do it if I could .... tried to save it as an xml document using Word but that didn't work. Maybe someone post or shoot me a pm?MrBenn wrote:The file is missing the .xml extension - I don;t know how critical this is, but I guess it will need one at some point?Scott-Land wrote:It does for the xml test just not for viewing the text-- see the above note. hehee.laddida wrote:the very last link is not working

Simply rename your file with the .xml extension, anyway this is the xml of your map if you want:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/3/21/ ... LFinal.xml
i'm going to look at your map right now.

Large map, Uptown , the coordinate 1px up?
Doing this, you should also move up the red line to have it aligned with the coordinate, but it's quick to do
Everything else looks good

Nice catch ! I'll fix it but won't update until I figure out how to save the file under an xml extension.thenobodies80 wrote:Large map, Uptown , the coordinate 1px up?

Re: Chicago V14 [D,GP,GR,XML] [Submitted for Beta]
just played my 1st game, it looks great, but 1 complaint, please remove the helipad from south deering and jefferson park, i live in chicago, how do you justify that connection? I understand midway airport connecting to o'hare, that makes sense but to randomly put a helipad somewhere, i just dont get it, and how does it relate to chicago? otherwise great job.
Re: Chicago V14 [D,GP,GR,XML] [Submitted for Beta]
Found out when i wanted to fort to morgan park it was listed twice in the drop box. IM sure if i picked either one it would go to the same spot but still shouldnt be in there twice.

must of been a one time glitch? second time i had to fort morgan i didnt have that problem although second time i forted it it was my only option last time i had like 6 other territories listed with it. Ill keep checking though.

Hmm... wanted to create an access point from the north to the south. I'm not against removing it, although it does bring some unique strategy ( which was why it was included ) to the gameplay. Perhaps we should poll it ?azezzo wrote:just played my 1st game, it looks great, but 1 complaint, please remove the helipad from south deering and jefferson park, i live in chicago, how do you justify that connection?
