Judging by his statement Biden has spent plenty of time in pubs killing brain cells so he would feel more comfortable there. Can't argue with that. Isn't drinking beer what he is best at?

Are you really that idiotic? Do you know what that means? Seriously, it is not that hard to grasp. Spend more, which is putting more money through taxes and other things into the economy, which RAISES the economy, out of a recession. It worked in Australia, and now we're not in a recession.

See, this is the problem. Most people can only grasp the situation through analogies to personal economics, and so only consider solutions that would work on a personal level. Spending obviously wouldn't help on a personal level, because you are only responsible for yourself. When you're responsible for millions of people spending in a bad situation is sometimes a good thing.
