I have no idea what it does since I've never switched it on, but maybe you could give it a try, I think it will only work on the fora, though.



Other than that, I think a general ban on swearwords is not feasible, kicking out 13 year olds for swearing in front of 40 year olds is probably not the way to go in order to make a site family-friendly.

Example...
"f(u)ck you" wouldn't be censored. If they did eventually catch on and censor it, then people will just say 'fouck you'. If they go through censoring every bloody loophole, soon every time you mis-type something, it will be bleeped out. I've seen it happen on an old gaming website I used to play on. Your best option is to wear cyber-earmuffs.
