New (July 2009) Game Invitation System *Done*

• Specifics: The new invitation system of starting games should allow the inviter and the invitees to see who has been invited.
  
  This will improve the following aspects of the site: The host needs to be able to confirm that the people he intended to invite were the ones he actually invited. The invitees may not want to play with one or more of the others.

Good suggestion. Also, it would be useful if there were an option for a shorter time frame to accept or reject. Too often, players do neither and it take 24 hr. for the time to run out before you can add another player.

great suggestion! It would be good for all players to see who was invited. I've been invited to join team 2 before and I had no clue who I wouldn't be playing with!

Concise description:

• It's great that one can invite friends on the site to a game, reserving them a slot. However, if one happens to be a freemium and has to decline through lack of available slots, u can find urself suddenly playing someone random on a 2 player map- which could prove pretty expensive points wise if they get lucky!

Specifics:

• once an invite is sent, change the slot on the game waiting screen to show who has been invited. If they then decline or are discovered to be out of contact for a while, it becomes a lot easier to drop the game.

I think this is a great idea. It would also help if someone was slow to show up, you would know who to contact.

This would help me make tourny games much easier, when I invite people, all it says reserved, and I find myself wondering if I sent out the wrong player the invite... lol

I believe it would be a benefit to have "Player Names" appear when you invite them to join a game.
Currently, only the word "Invited" appears.

The benefits would be;

1. You could remember whom you had invited. (When it is a seven player game, you might forget who you had asked first...)

2. Potential players would see who else had been invited, and that might temper their decision to join.
