Sorry, typo, it was meamt to be 120 degrees east72o wrote:Un seconded. 128 degrees east is at Mundrabilla, which is only 40 miles from the Western Australia border. That eliminates basically nothing but a sliver of outback. There is zero street view in that sliver.nippersean wrote:seconded
If you're seconding something, second my original question.

Re: Where in the World is Gilligan?
Next time I do this, have to take away the unseconding (unless someone is trying to ruin the game)
Is he west of 120 degrees east
Yes, he is west of 120 degrees east
Is he west of 120 degrees east

Why? Unseconding is good…jpcloet wrote:Next time I do this, have to take away the unseconding (unless someone is trying to ruin the game)
Re: Where in the World is Gilligan?
It can be good, however, it implies that your opinion is more valid that the person who seconded. Not sure why one person should have that power, maybe, a third is needed for agreement. That would be more positive, I'll try that next time. This one is an easy one and should be found before Q15.

Please find me quicker than anyone found me on that damn island.... which is faster than 15 years, please.

Re: Where in the World is Gilligan?
Is he within 20km from the coast?
Re: Where in the World is Gilligan?
It only means that further discussion should be had before wasting a question. Plus, in this case, if I hadn't un-seconded the question, it would have been a complete waste. Since he at least corrected himself, it was only a 90% waste.jpcloet wrote:It can be good, however, it implies that your opinion is more valid that the person who seconded. However, it's your game, run it how you wish.
And it will take every bit of 15 questions if we keep asking ones we know the answer to.

Re: Where in the World is Gilligan?
Do you mean below the Fitzgerald Inlet? If so, I'll second it and we'll call it (-34.105366,119.630613).skeletonboy wrote:Is he south of the mouth of the Fitzgerald River?

jp I erred i my seconding (Ithought we were much further East) and am happy to be unseconded if I make a screw up.jpcloet wrote:It can be good, however, it implies that your opinion is more valid that the person who seconded. Unseconding is fine IMO.
Happy New Year!!

Happens, if you look at the picture, the last question also could have been better since there is visible water. The most important information is from one of the users..... (Big Hint

Woot!

Gilligan is on Brunswick road, Port Albany, WA, Australia.
I've been driving around Albany for 4 hours now. Something about the angle of the sun, and the way the trees looked, that helped.
I downloaded a Caltex location listing and looked at every gas station in Western Australia. Only after 2 days and 400+ gas stations did I realize it wasn't a gas station but a refinery.
Good job with this one, JP. That was hard.
