I miss Owenshooter, as much as i think he can be annoying at times, (arent we all guilty of this?) he added flavor to the forums, in all honesty the forums are lame, sure i'm simplifying things, its just not the lack of owen, but other people as well, and those that are left are careful not to say anything too colorful, lest the dreaded ban hammer might come out swinging.

You can't keep poking the bear with a stick. He started policing the mods, and although in many ways he had valid points, I think it got to the point where he was splitting hairs and beating to death incidents. He got annoying, (to some, championed by others...) and the mods gave him a 6 month to get him out of their hair.

No I like Owen, but he has a "Just let it Go" issue and needs to learn how to pick and choose his battles. If you go to def-con 4 every time a mod makes an error, you become diluted and are then just back ground noise very shortly.

That and a privately owned site is a dictatorship.
One must understand that the only votes you have are with your wallet, and your feet.
This is hard for some to accept.

The best thing C.C could do in regards to Owen is make him a minor mod.....lets say a chat mod...something out of the forum spectrum. He would bring a lot to the table, and it would give him a lot of perspective at the same time.

Yeah, but it's hilarious when he goes to Defcon 4. That's the whole reason I miss him, was his flipcase personality, constant stream of baseless accusations and molehill into mountain constructions. Also, his deep seeded need to be an important person leads to much comedy gold.

Like how it's so incredibly fucking important to him to have his little clan, so he can be "Mr. Exclusivity". That's really funny to me and I love his internet persona for it.

Banning him has left General Discussion more boring. I really hope he doesn't change his lack of "just let it go" personality, I just hope that as he does his thing, he doesn't do it by creating more work for the mods with reporting posts. Instead, I hope he just makes long ranty posts, cause then we all get to enjoy it, instead of just the mods.
