well, not really, but in my first attempt, the likely winner became a major b4 the tourney started, and is undefeated.

Basically this tourney is for bad players

What ever happened to wanting to play the best to get better

I do not have a problem with signing up with a particular rank or range, but the disqualifying because someone does well and rises in rank should not be allowed. All that will do is give a free pass. What happens if the finals are set and one or both of the players rise into the captain rank. Do you give a free title or no title at all?

if someone gets eliminated due to rank, the last person they eliminated goes through

that rule is just the most stupid thing i have read in the turney forums in a long time and im not even sure its allowed within the structure..
its like having a tournament set up where the prize goes to the first player to be eliminated.. :lol:

It is the best solution. the 2nd best player would go through, not the worst, and i've seen it done several times, but mostly with deadbeating.
