A: Way too long!
This update may not be the biggest ever but it should keep us entertained till the next one...
Assassin Games
Kill your target before anyone else kills theirs! Will you be obvious or keep them guessing who you're gunning for? Oh oh, someone else is about to be taken out... can you block your opponent and save the day?? Check out the Game Options section of the Instructions for a full description of this new game type.
Terminator Deadbeats
The loophole is finally closed. When players are auto-kicked in a terminator game their armies remain on the map, and you can still get points (and cards) from them if you eliminate the deadbeat before the game is over.
Country Flags 2.0
I've installed a new set of "professional" flag icons that cover all ISO 3166 country codes and look nicer too.
Feedback Reforms
Three changes to improve the quality of feedback: (1) You can now respond to neutral feedback. (2) You can no longer copy-and-paste the same feedback to different people. (3) You can only leave one of each type of feedback to the same person.
Change (3) serves to prevent "feedback flooding" and will simplify the feedback score, because now every feedback counts. That is, once we get rid of existing multiple feedbacks. In the near future we will send out PMs to people who've left multiple feedbacks and give them a chance to choose which to keep. A couple days later I'll delete any remaining multiple feedbacks (keeping the oldest). This should not affect anyone's feedback score, unless you have an incorrect score to begin with (due to an old bug).
Faster Servers
Yikes, we already outgrew that powerful dedicated server! Now CC is running on 2 machines, one for the webserver and one for the database. They have dual-core processors and RAID SCSI drives so I hope this move will triple our capacity. Plus there is now a hardware firewall to help keep hackers out

Full-Time Webmaster
That's right, as of March 31 I'll be making a career out of maintaining this website. It's hard to leave behind a stable IT job and the great people that I work with... but risk is the name of the game
