I know there are some of you out there, so lets talk. We got the trade deadline coming up, followed by the stretch run to the playoffs. Who do you like right now? Any good rumours about who's getting traded?

I don't follow hockey at all, so I don't know who's who (except for Wayne Gretzky).

However, I'd like to mention my favorite hockey moment. The year was 2005 I believe.

Haven't heard all that much trade buzz, mostly because my good ole' ducks don't really need any outside help. They just have to get bryzgalov back, and keep pronger and neidermeyer and beauchemin healthy. That team was an absolute monster before the injury bug bit, so hopefully they can round back into form just as the playoffs are starting.

The only little thing that's going to bug me when the ducks hoist the stanley cup this june is that they weren't able to pull it off in '03 against the devils. I always wanted to see that stupid Disney 'mighty ducks' name on lord stanley's cup. Now they're just the ducks, which is more acceptable, but not nearly as galling to northeast hockey fans. :wink:

Huh, that's for sure Incandenza. I hated that disney team from the beginning. As far as your Ducks go though, there are rumours that they might be interested in Forsberg. You'd have to admit, a healthy Forsberg with Selanne would be awsome.

Yes, I've heard the Forsberg to Detroit rumours too... the whole team wants him of course, and it would give us 8 Swedes on the team. Personally, I'd like to see either Bertuzzi, Guerin, or Tkachuk come to Motown, because we could use some toughness, other than Markov, we don't have anyone who'll fight, and he doesn't do much fighting.

If the can get Forsberg AND one of those three... then yeah, I'd feel pretty good about their Cup chances then!

Don't get my hopes up. :lol:

A Selanne-Forsberg-Getzlaf line would be swift and certain death. Plus they'd have a ton of depth at center and right wing. And we all know how good the defense is (big ups to Chris Ponger's wife for f*cking hating Edmonton).

We'll see how it goes. The preds and sharks aren't exactly going to let the ducks waltz into the stanley cup finals.

Vancouver is looking at forsberg but not it would matter casue he gets injured every month. so dont matter who get him
