Gees, the foundry shure has slipped back into its old slow as snail pace lately.
What happened to all the "indication" of a faster foundry, or is this a stall from the top??

Rome wasn't built in a day...

Nor was this map. What is holding this up from quench?

Lack is still the only person able to upload files to the site. He has the files, and will get around to it at his own pace... You, more than anyone, should know the procedure by now

MrBenn, i know the procedure alright, but that's why i asked if the boss was on holidays. Usually it doesn't take this long to have maps made live.

It's been that way lately... last 4 maps took close to a week before they were available. {shrug} oh well, can't wait! I didn't get a chance to play the original version!

It might be that due to the old Das Schloss games - there needs to be other backend changes made first...

That is the old one, which was closed so that this could be remade. The head honchos must be busy cause it usually takes much less time to get things online.

Hey how come this map is not playable yet??? This was listed as Beta long before Crusades or WW II Poland and they're up now.

It's not necessarily due to the possibility of current games running, but I suspect you cannot directly REPLACE the map due to the different gameplay from the previous version, it could cause some serious damage to the game logs. That said, they could easily just put the map in under a different name, and not replace the old, closed version of the map.

My thoughts were that lackattack and others were actually playing a dummy game before even going to BETA to test that this one works OK.

I've spoken with lack - he's aware that the map is waiting to be loaded. I'm still not completely sure what he needs to do his end - but all we can do is wait...
