You may not like what I say but I think that if two players have to fight, then let them do so, mostly if it is in a rival match or playoff match where the pressure of a game sets someone off, some of it is due to the fact that one of there team members was hurt or something like that, as long as it stays under control, does not head into the stands and does not waste the whole time of the game I am ok with it.

Really I don't want to see a fight break out on or off the field or rink at all, it is just sometimes you need to let a little steam off.

Yeah sounds okay, I'm not a 100% sure but I was told that in Ice Hockey the players are allowed a one-on-one fight as long as they drop the stick and take their gloves off (is this true ?) and they just get a sin-bin for it.

Thats why I dont watch the NHL anymore. The fights are too boring. I like Olympic hockey where they dont put up with that BS

Your actually allowed to fight in NHL. Lmao, I just always thought that the ref was too much of a pussie to break it up.

I don't know a thing about cricket, but I have to imagine that Pakistan vs. India is a pretty intense rivalry! After all, not too many other sporting events could potentially initiate a nuclear war!

I know there are fights were they do jump in to stop it, but I have seen a few games were the fight was so intense that the refs just backed off.

There are some rival games in the NHL that the goal keepers come out to fight, like Patrick Roy and Mike Vernon also he got into a fight vs. Chris Osgood (both players Roy went vs. were from the Red Wings).

Hockey fighting was maybe at it's highest in the 80's, when you had guys like Bob Probert fighting... look him up on YouTube.com

What about the fights were everyone on the team came off the bench to join in the fight.

I saw one I can't remember the year, but it was a world game and it was the U.S.S.R. vs. Canada and it started with a little jab by a Russian player and of course the Canada player at the other end of the jab was not to happy and it ended up with the two getting into a fight and well the 5 on both sides joined in as well then the keepers and then the coaches and the players on the bench then jumped in. It was funny to see three ref's try to break up one fight only to jump to another and then have to go back and break up the two that they just split before.
