not in the slightest, love thy neighbour, do good to those who hurt you, sound like a Christian should be hating?stinkycheese wrote:HAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHA...Jehan wrote:
you said you hate Muslims, how can you possibly be a Christian and hate anyone?
Surely you are jesting, right?
thats why i voted for him not to be in the clan, his obvious disregard for the words of Christ

You must note a few things in regards to that post:
1. It was taken way out of context by most people.
2. I always stated I prefer conversion to death.
3. It was right after my cousin was killed in Iraq by Islamic militants, making me get emotional, but peaceful Islam is okay, although their beliefs are still incorrect.
4. Several local Jews were heckling me at that point in time about the Bible and Jesus, but I later overcame it.
So, that statement(and the couple that followed) were me getting caught up in an un-Christian attitude. I have since taken back those statements, and apologized to some.

This is fine, because you sre interested in joining the clan instead of bashing Christianity.
Here's one of the several verses that mention Jesus descending into hell.
For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Matthew 12:40 NKJV)
If you want more verses, I will be happy to find some for you and/or I can also see if the members of the clan will let you two in even though you do not accept everything in the Apostles' Creed.

You're right, it is not a requirement to accept the Apostles' Creed to be Christian, but it is a requirement to be a member of the Jesus Freaks.Mylittlepuddykat wrote:I do accept everything in the apostle creed I just dont think it is nessesary for someone to, to be a Christian

APOSTLES' CREED
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Christian Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
hmm... Can I poke holes in this here? Lets just start with Jesus didn't die on a cross! That would be fun to debate. Bet I win!

Please take that debate to the Social LoungeII or this thread will probably end up locked(again). Not to mention that your thought that He didn't die on the cross is incorrect.GrazingCattle wrote:APOSTLES' CREED
